Seriously. It's like they only do books when it's one of those weekends. Would it have been so bad to have a David Michael story for once?

Yeah, but David Michael's boring He's there all the time! After "Kristy and Mr Mom", the custody arrangements change so that Karen and Andrew spend more time at Watson's. Maybe that adds to how many stories they get as well.

Oh yeah David Michael is totally left behind so that BSC/Kristy books can feature Karen! Even when DM is there, Karen is almost always there as well!! Kristy definitely seemed to favor her step-sister over her real brother. Weird.
I never like Kristy much in other BSC books, but in her own, she's nice to read about. I guess b/c in other peoples books, she is just bossybossybossy, but in her own you can get a glimpse into a more sensitive side.

^ ITA!
Kristy is much more... gentle in her own books. In everyone elses, she's either barking, reprimanding or giving Looks.

I agree. I like Kristy in her own books but in some of the others she bugs me. That seems to be a common theme, though, with the characters' personalities being changed according to where they are needed in the storyline.

I agree the girls seem different in their own books than in the books of others. They'll sometimes say things you could never picture them saying from their own point of view.

I think in Kristy's books you can kind of understand why things just tumble out of her mouth. In other people's books, it just seems, to me, as if she just rudely blurts out things at random.

Kristy is overall much more likeable in her own books. In everyone elses, I usually feel like slapping her, particularly when everyone is so frantic about avoiding her Look.

The Look always seemed so unrealistic. I mean, seriously. A death glare for being half a second late? And all the others for being scared of a *look*?

And its not even just Kristy with the LOOK. Logan gives it to Mary Anne in Logan's Story! Gosh I wish I could just glare at someone to get the to do what I wanted and/or apologize for their behavior!

Those BSC girls were always giving each other Looks.

I think those Looks must have had magic powers. Seriously.

Yeah, everyone was terrified of them. They ensured total compliance.

Maybe it has something to do with the visor she wears.
