I see the strongest case for Abby, mostly from Abby's unvalentine... but Logan, no way. Kristy's supposed lesbianism comes more from stereotypes than anything else.

I say no way on Logan and Kristy, too. Also on Abby because the strongest support is in Unvalentine and I can relate to her feelings in that one (and am definitely not a lesbian! ;D) I think she had some bad V day experiences (as she says) and they really soured her towards the holiday and maybe romance in general. I've gotten those cynical thoughts before. ;D

I've always made Mal a lesbian in my head. I don't know why, she just seems like way to into "fitting in" to not be harboring some giant secret about herself. Also, I kind of think that Mal = AMM somehow.
But Logan? Nah... Maybe those guys who were mocking him for having a girlfriend. ;-)

;D I always thought it was funny in Logan's book where the boy who was picking on Logan for being a sitter called Stacey or Claudia (can't remember which one anymore) and she hung up on him because she thought it was a prank call. Serves him right. ;D

Wow! He would be old compared to the thirteen year old we still read about! It's kinda weird to think about the members being older than me!

You know, I always sort of suspected Ann M. Martin was gay...even growing up I sort of thought that when I read the biography.
As far as the whole Kristy/lesbian thing is concerned, I guess I always kind of thought that too. But realistically, if ann is a lesbian author, there are bound to be gay undertones in much of her writing. When I look back and read her books now, I am almost positive that Ann is gay, and Kristy will probably be most likely to be the lesbian as I see her being a feminist and opinionated as an adult.
By the way, I myself am a lesbian and "character wise" am probably most like Dawn...goes to show ya you don't need to be a tomboy to be gay!

Ann is gay.
I don't see how being a feminist and opinionated would make Kristy a lesbian though. I'm plenty opinionated/feminist, and I am totally straight.
