^I believe they are drawings of real girls. The Friends Forever covers are photographs, right?

ahh drawings of real girls. That makes sense. I'm very intrigued now, I feel like going to look at loads of covers. Too bad I'm at work. Man I wonder how you got the gig of being a BSC "model". I think I would've made an okay Kristy or Mary Anne pre-haircut.

I never pictured Watson as the roly-poly type. I see him as tall and lanky, with thinning hair. That's exactly how I see him. I always pictured him to look kind of like the guy who played the dad on ALF.

Nowadays, I picture Abby as a teenage version of Lisa Edelstein - dark hair, prominent nose and jaw, but pretty in a unique way.

Wait, what?! The girls on the picture of the books are real people?! All of them?! On all of the covers?! I'm so confused. They look like drawings of people... they can't be real people can they? <<< there's no way that's a real little girl. I always figured they were real people posing. That's cool that it really was true. There were many consistencies (Kristy looks the same on a lot of her covers) and then you could really find the obvious differences. (I don't know why these two examples just popped in my head): Claudia on the cover of Claudia, Queen of the Seventh Grade looks like a young teenager, yet the Claudia on the cover of Here Come the Bridesmaids totally looks like a grown woman. Complete with yucky yellow pantsuit.

When I was younger I always pictured the narrator of each book as however she happened to appear on the cover of that particular book. So if, for example, I was reading The Ghost At Dawn's House I would just naturally picture her throughout the whole book with the same outfit and hair she's got on the cover. I never really tried to picture any of the other characters except the narrator. Because I was a weird kid. And now I've probably gone and confused you, lol

For some reason, I can't really "picture" the characters in my head when I read a book. They are only "rough" images. I also make up my own looks for them with Mal being very pretty and MA having long hair all of the way through the series. I can't really "see" them, though. Another point that is related to this is I picture everyone on here as looking like their avatar. And I've definitely been on here way too much lately as you are all popping up with the BSC members and other people I really know in my dreams.

I really can't say how I pictured them in my head, because I never had a full image of them. I think I pictured them how they were described in the book, but to me they were also just rough images.

I also always only had a "rough" image of them in my head. I'd look at the cover of the book I was reading about a 100 times just to remember what they were supposed to look like! I also picture everyone here looking like their avatars. Haha! Weird, I know. But I actually do look somewhat like mine - if I'd wear braids, that is.

^I do the same thing! I actually was just thinking about this the other day. I esp picture people who have avs of MA or Kristy, and I definitely pictured you as your av! Also aln is one I really picture as hers (no clue if I'm close or not!). I look NOTHING like Dawn (other than the loooong hair, but actually mine is much longer than hers is usually depicted. It's not as long as hers is SUPPOSED to be -waist length- it goes about to my elbows. Also it's brown, not "cornsilk"). But anyway... I don't picture the people w/ Dawn/Stacey avs like the picture though, I guess cause I know mine is Dawn and I look nothing like her And I know hitzpink doesn't look like her Dawn av either.

Bwahaha, does that make me Mallory?
The only thing we have in common is our hair color (and blue eyes and freckles, if you're going by book descriptions).
