I was at a bookstore tonight and I picked up a book in the kids' section to look at it purely because it was about a girl named Mallory, and then when I looked at the picture on the cover, the girl also had red hair and freckles! Mallory McDonald

That girl is kind of cute. Good find What also amused me is that the creator has the same name as one of my friends.

Those books are adorable! Mallory Pike only wishes she could be that cute. (Just kidding!)
Just out of curiosity, what kind of books are they, wanderingfrog? Are they graphic novels or chapter books? I couldn't tell by the site.

They're not graphic novels. They seem to be for about the same age of kids as the Judy Moody books are. Like maybe eight-year-olds or something.

That book series looks pretty interesting and her best friend is named Mary Ann, like Mary Anne Spier without the "e".
