If you could ask Ann a BSC question, what would it be?
I personally want to know how in the world one pronounces "Myriah."

That Myriah thing has always bugged me.
I would ask her what the deal was with the "now-we're sisters" present. How did she not catch that mistake?

I'm always amazed at how many things Ann and her editors missed that are so obvious to readers, most of whom were under the age of 12 at the time.

I know! We've got the 36-long page thread of inconsistencies that we all noticed over the years. I know there were a lot of ghostwritten books, but come on.

Ann supposedly checked the ghostwritten books for inconsistencies. I can see her getting the fedexed packages, tossing them aside, and then going for a dip in her scrooge mcduck-style money pool.
(just kidding, ann!)

The "Ducktales" reference (and visualizing Ann actually jumping into a money pool) made me lol ;D! I would ask her what happened to each one of the sitters when they grew up.

Good question ^ And I'd probably ask her if there was a reunion book being planned. Lol nah, I probably wouldnt bug her about that... But I'd subtley make sure she knew it would be a dream come true. Other than that I'd probably ask her about her life.

If you asked her about the reunion, she'd probably say the same thing she always says about it - No

I'd show her these boards, the LJ community, and then ask for a reunion. Also, I'd try to probe into her research methods and editing techniques.

I would ask about all of the things that bother people on here and other boards so much and ask if she knows about all of the snark, reads it, and if it makes her feel bad. (not that I don't do some myself but I try not to ;D)

Ha, I doubt Ann would concern herself with reading snark I bet she would be absolutely amazed at the number of topics we have on this board and to see how we still love the books after all these years

^ Hopefully. ;D For some reason, I would also ask if she had ever ridden horses and where she has traveled and visited in the US. Also, what she liked most about writing the books, why she stopped and if she misses it. Also, if she felt like she "knew" the characters after a while.

If you could ask Ann a BSC question, what would it be? I personally want to know how in the world one pronounces "Myriah." I actually sent in that question once when there was that "Ask Ann" form on her web site... but she never answered it. Sob.

I think I would first tell her how much I still love the books even as a 20 year old. I would then probably ask her what she envisioned each girl to do when they became adults, I would probably also ask her if she thinks all the girls would remain friends as they got older.
