^ are you talking about Keep Out, Claudia? It was the Lowell family, they did let her babysit but were very obnoxious and rude. Jessi, they turned away.

Here's a bump for this thread. Also, a LS question.... What book did Grandad have his first heart attack and Seth went to NE? Was it Karen's Movie?

^ I'm still not much of a LS reader, so unfortunately, I can't answer that one. What was the book where Dawn (I think) was talking about all the weird stuff she, Claudia, and Stacey were putting in their hair? One of them was using mayo, one was using lemon juice, and one was using avocado. I'm thinking it was "Ghost at Dawn's House," but I'm not sure. (Side note: I actually put lemon juice on my hair a few times this past summer to see if it would lighten it, and when I washed it out, my hair was always so soft! I would have thought that the acidity would dry it out.)

I think it's Impossible Three. Dawn said, "if we put our heads together, we'd have a salad."

I think Mallory's Christmas Wish? I know it was Jessi who showed the kids the tchotchtkes, she bought a box of them at the thrift store and Aunt Cecelia complained she was wasting her money.

Booboobrewer, you're talking about Happy Holidays, jessi. The one where the pikes are being filmed is mallory's christmas wish.

No, in Happy Holidays, Jessi and Becca go shopping with Aunt Cecelia, but they don't go to a thrift store. I do believe it's in Christmas Wish--Jessi shows the Braddocks how to make them and then they take the frames to the Stoneybrook Manor party at the end. I used to reread that book a ton.
