Now I remember that one. I hadn't remembered that subplot until Gracie brought it up. Who were the foreigners? Did they ever show up in later books? They, of course, had the written out accent. I might be wrong but I think it's their house Stacey ends up moving into when she comes back to Stoneybrook. I don't think the foreigners appeared much.

Waht was the book where Stacey is sitting for the Pikes, and Vanessa and Margo use that sample bottle of concentrated shampoo on Claire's hair and can't get it out? I remember that Stacey was wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

what's the book where claudia is hanging upside down to see if it will make her smarter because all the blood would rush to her head, and then she sits up and says "i feel light-headed. is this how it feels to be a genius?" and janine shouts "NO!" from her room?

I'm pretty sure that's Dawn's Wicked Stepsister. That's totally one of my favorite BSC scenes ever. (Kristy talking about sitting down all day--"You can imagine where my blood has settled...I must have the smartest..." )

What's the book where Jackie Rodowsky thinks he hit a home run and rounds the bases, but finds out his ball was caught on the fly after crossing home plate? My niece did this yesterday and I'm positive it was in a BSC book, but I can't remember which one!

My niece did this yesterday and I'm positive it was in a BSC book, but I can't remember which one! Kristy and the Walking Disaster. Shea caught it on the fly, but Jackie kept running. He ran all the way around the yard to home plate, where he was met by Shea. Shea held the tennis ball in Jackie's face. "Fly ball," he informed him. "You're out. Jackie, you will never be in Little League." He didn't have to add, "Because no one would want you," but that's what he meant, and we all knew it.

I was trying to think of what book it was where I think maybe Kristy is talking about Cokie in kind of a threatening way, and says, "I'll....I'll..." and Mallory finishes for her, "Do something fiendish to her?" and everyone laughs. Does anyone recall what book that's from?

Been trying to remember... What book was it when Pow went to the PIkes because it was discovered that Marnie was allergic?
Also... what book was it when Amanda comes to visit and discovers that the fountain in her old house is gone (might be a little sister book, not sure). She was MAD... I was reading a book and it said that the fountain was still there when I could have SWORN it was gone before that book was written.

I was reading a book and it said that the fountain was still there when I could have SWORN it was gone before that book was written. I think that happened in Karen's Bully. In that book, Amanda comes back for a visit and the Kormans invite her to come see the house and she realizes that the fountain is gone.

And they took out the tennis courts for a GARDEN! The Kormans are EVIL I tell you, EVIL. And it was Karen's Bully, I read that one just a few days ago for the first time.
Does anyone know when the Dewitts are introduced?
