I noticed in his bio that it said "his art has graced the covers of more than 300 books"....but it doesn't say which. I guess admitting you worked on The Babysitters Club isn't very dignifying if you want to be taken seriously.

I bet it would be a "lightbulb" for folks wondering what his art looked like.

Anna, that Jessi looks like Jessi meets Degas' 14 Year Old Dancer!

He's really talented...wish I could draw and paint like that... it just really didn't translate that well to BSC Covers... in a lot of instances.

I'm surprised Kirsten even remembered she did that. She's done a hell of a lot of work for someone her age. On the same theme, I saw a random kids book once where they used real people on the cover, like the Friends Forever books, and one of the kids was Mischa Barton. I wonder who else has done modelling for book covers. Besides Fabio.

^The Courtyard one totally looks like Mary Anne on the cover of MA and the Memory Garden!

I definately agree about the courtyard one being Mary Anne. I also really saw Dawn in the other picture.

This thread is awesome and so are those pictures.
I really wish I could imitate Soileau's art. I can imitate a lot of styles but his is hard. I at least wish I could emulate it into anime or something. And it's not like finding tutorials for this stuff is easy since the huge rise in digital realism which is so un-BSC.
