Pretty self-explanatory; pick your favorite Portrait Collection book! I went with Stacey.

Stacey's! The first one I read and still my favorite.

Abby's. The chapters dealing with her father's death and how her family coped and began to live again had a big effect on me.

^ I loved Abby's too, and I voted for it. I agree with everything you stated. A lot of chapters were very touching, and I felt really bad when they all turned into...stones. Their family was just so cheerful and lively before, then after the incident...they, like, turned into lifeless sad stones. The book left me wondering..a lot.
You know..if that and this happened..I treasure my family, and show them my love everyday. The book motivated me to show more. I can't imagine life without my family.

It's so hard to choose, I love them all, though I think it may come down to between Stacey and Abby...

It is hard to choose. I picked Kristy for sure, since me and her have a lot in common.

I still haven't decided, perhaps I should re-read them all first :/

My favorite Portrait book is Kristy's for sure because she's my favorite!

Kristy Thomas and Karen Brewer, your postings are very repetitive. Might I suggest reading the board rules at the top?

I love all of them, but Abby's Book is my favorite along with Kristy's Book.

I voted for Claudia's. I thought it was so cute and appropriate for the assignment given.
However, after reading all of them I have to change my mind about wanting Jessi/Mal books. The portraits were completely unnecessary and in some cases (Dawn and Stacey in particular) didn't even add anything in terms of character development. I think Jessi/Mal (or Alan, Cokie, or any of the other wishful thinking ones) would have ending up being a big disappointment anyway.

^ I disagree with the secondary characters bit. I think an Alan or Cokie Portrait Collection would have been awesome. I would have loved to be given more insight into their world. (Even a Logan or Shannon Portrait would have sufficed!)

I would have read Shannon or Logan. Re: Alan and Cokie, I don't know...not sure if their "stories" would be all that compelling. The knowledge that Cokie's a General Hospital fan and has a comfy farmhouse kitchen is kind of enough for me Now that I think about it, Logan's probably wouldn't be that interesting either. lol

I've FINALLY gotten the last Portrait book I needed, so now I can vote! Abby's was my favorite. I think in all the others' books, there was at least one life event that seemed like a stupid addition not worth adding to an autobiography, but I liked all of Abby's stories she included.

^ Abby's book would definitely have been my second choice. Who knows? It's been five years since I made this thread and voted.....maybe it would even be at the top of the list by now.
