Thanks! Karen's ghost is the book. It's mentioned on page 86.

Which is the first book where Jessi gets up at 5:28/9? I'm sure it's one of the earlier ones - after a while, her getting up at 5:29 just becomes a chapter 2 trope. But I remember her describing it before that...which book? (I just read Jessi's Big Break for the first time ever. I kinda feel like she gets a bit of her groove back in this!! But lame that she doesn't accept...I'd way rather Jessi go away to ballet school than Mal to boarding school...)

It's in Jessi's Secret Language.

At the end of Dawn Schafer, Undercover Babysitter, she says that Kristy's family is going to visit Dawn's family when they are on their way back from Hawaii to Connecticut - is that the only mention of that visit? I seem to remember it getting mentioned again but now I'm thinking it might have been in a Fanfiction, not canon.

Kristy and her family go to Hawaii in 99. Abby takes over as president during Kristy's absence. Kristy comes home from Hawaii at the beginning of 100. No mention is made about visiting Dawn that I can remember.

Which is the book where one of the BSC members (I think it was Mallory?) tutors Buddy in reading and he goes from not being able to read "Hop on Pop" to reading long chapter books with little help within a month?

I think it was Mallory and the Mystery Diary. That's where Buddy suddenly struggles with reading and Mal becomes his tutor. After that, I don't think Buddy's struggle with reading is mentioned, so I'm going with Mystery Diary.

It's a great book actually! It's written by Ann herself, too. It's one of my favorites.

I just remember Mallory trying to get him to read very simple words (maybe a Dr. Suess book) at the beginning and at the end (maybe two weeks later?), he's reading thick chapter books without any help. The snark I was referring to was how Mallory preformed that miracle at 11 years old while real life professional reading teachers would struggle to get anywhere close to the same results in such a short time. Also wasn't Buddy's spelling way better than Claudia's?

Any child's spelling in Stoneybrook is better than Claudia Buddy does struggle reading Green Eggs and Ham which is a dr Seuss book so you're right on that one. I haven't read mystery diary in a while, but by the end he ended up reading the mystery diary with very little or no help and he reads encyclopedia brown and maybe hardy boys I think. It is crazy that Mallory is able to teach buddy better than qualified professional teachers with a college degree! But I think it was pointed out that he thought reading was boring and Mallory made it fun which makes sense I guess.

Hello! I am new to this forum, but I would really like some help. I am looking for a Little Sister book where Karen makes something like a schedule for herself with when to play, when to do homework and chores, stuff like that, but then she doesn't give herself any time to do homework on Saturday and Sunday. She also tries to wear her hair the same way everyday, but then at the end she changes her mind about the schedule and wears her hair in a different style.
I am also trying to remember one where Karen is swimming and there is a girl who is afraid to dive so she does cannonballs instead. I think that might be Karen's swim meet.

I don't even remember reading that book. Thanks again!
