It's a toss up between the BSC and Shannon's SDS friends.

Oh man, when I was little I always fantasized about going to boarding school (movies and books make it look like there are so many adventures and close friendships!), so I voted for Mallory's boarding school, hands down.
Jessi's group seems cool too. Laid back is good.

I chose the BSC because they have variety.

BSC, because like a lot of the rest of you, I, too, wished I had belonged to a group of friends like them--particularly at age 13. I also do love kids and thought most of the community projects sounded like fun. Of course, I continue to re-read the books and love coming on here, is for the comfort "Stoneybrook" and related (all of you ) friends provide. Mal's Riverbend friends come in second. Sounded like a great experience. heck, I wouldn't have minded if that had translated into my first couple years of college when I lived in the dorms.

BSC, duh! I would love to be in a big group of friends. They're all very different in a good way. Especially when I was in middle school because I was kind of a loner and I had only like two friends. On the other hand, though, the BSCers are kind of bitchy sometimes and I WOULD like to have a life outside the clique.

Even though I'm not a people person, I think I would rather hang out with Down's clique. Despite their vegetarianism, they seem more tolerant and laid back than Kristy and her friends.
Second place is Shannon and her SDS friends.

Mal's river bend friends sounded pretty cool. Although Shannon's friends come a close second.

In high school, my extended group of friends was a lot like Shannon's, but less nice. Being surrounded by high achievers can be pretty demoralizing and I felt a lot of pressure to measure up.
Even though I hate Dawn, I would love to hang out with her group. They eat cool food, hang out at the beach, and they are the most diverse group by a long shot.

I change my mind about being in the BSC. After reading California Diaries, I would really like to be in Dawn's clique

I still think mallorys boarding school life would be interesting, in second place I’d pick the bsc.

I also used to fantasize about boarding school life (thanks, The Facts of Life). But, I'm really a small-town homebody, so the BSC is probably the most stable group for me.
