People like Boo Boo?!?!?! I had NO idea! I hate that cat!!! Maybe this is like the Alan Gray thing - everyone seems to enjoy him but me! Boo Boo seems scary and like he'd attack you and claw you to death! I voted for Louie because he seemed very sweet and I absolutely love Kristy and the Snobs (even tho the poor guy dies) and I don't know... I feel bad for Louie Poor thing struggling to even walk and stuff Plus the bit w/ DM sleeping downstairs w/ him is too sweet!

DM sleeping with Louie was really sweet. During my cat's last days, she slept on my bed. I slept on the couch or the floor. For some reason, that was where she wanted to be, and I hated to move her.

I loved Louie. I love collies and have always wanted one, for starters, and Louie was so sweet-natured and cute. I cried so much in Kristy in the Snobs when they put him down.
I also love Boo-Boo, just because he's got so much personality. Much more interesting to read about than boring old (but cute) Tigger. Boo-Boo reminds me a little of my cat. She's not as mean (or as fat) as him, but she definitely has an attitude. She wouldn't have put up with Karen, either! I was horribly disturbed to find out that Boo-Boo dies in one of the LS books, and is found dead in a linen closet. Who the hell would put that in a book meant for children who are just starting to read? I know that pets die, children need to learn about that kind of stuff, blah blah.....but found dead in a closet?! I'm still not over that.

I think if I ever found one of my pets dead in a closet, I'd be scarred for life.

^ I had forgotten about Boo Boo being in the closet. That is really awful! I usually don't get worked up about animals dying (grew up with barn cats, dogs and horses and have lost several - cats, especially) but that is just exceptionally traumatic and gross. What LS book was it in? I kind of remember reading it but know I haven't for a while.

I'm really suprised that they would put that in an LS book. It doesn't really seem appropiate for kids to read about.

Was playing the computer game Vet Emergency and a rat was one of the “patients” and made me think of Emily Jr. For some reason, her name nad the fact that she’s a rat really makes me laugh. ;D Frodo the hamster also makes me laugh but I picture him as much larger than a hamster (I think hamsters are small but am not sure…) like the size of a guinea pig. Not sure why. ;D

My cat is 13 or 14 years old and I am petrified of finding her dead in a closet. Thanks guys, for now giving me that fear.

My favorite pet is Louie, their was just something special and sweet about him that I loved.
I haven't read that LS book about Boo Boo dying and being found in a closet. That is so sad..

^ Me too. He was definitely my favorite pet. ;D I loved Karen's Black Cat when he is sitting on Watson and Karen's laps and Watson tries to walk him on the leash. Also love the Pet Show subplot in Dance School Phantom. ;D
