Mr. Kilbourne. I always thought he was cheating on his wife. Plus he never really spent time with Shannon and her sisters.

Besides Patrick, lol, common first words in this thread I know, I actually vote for Dawn's mother. Yes, I can understand her wanting to flee from memories of her married life to try and start anew. I also can get how she'd want to take solace in her parents, who apparently she was close to. But to more or less tell her kids, (Dawn's Portrait) that they had no choice but to move with her. Unless I completely missed it, I sure don't recall any interaction with Granny and Pop Pop before the move. Shrug. I still say Sharon should have moved to another suburb of LA or heck to San Diego, somewhere still in the vicinity of SoCal. But then, jack should have fought harder for her to do that.

to be honest, i don't like most of the parents. i think some of them (like elizabeth) got less likeable as the series went on, and others (liek maureen) got better. but in general, i REALLY dislike sharon. i agree that she should not have moved her kids so far away, even though she was going through a tough time. rachel's husband DIED for crying out loud and she didn't move her kids away until she was able to provide for them better. sharon didn't have a job when she moved, and she didn't even get the kids winter clothing until the say before school. plus the whole scatterbrained thing was so annoying. nobody who is that clueless should be allowed to have kids and raise them by herself. in MA and the great romance she actually leaves her shoe in the fridge. that's just nasty. for all her preaching about healthy eating, that's really unsanitary. THEN, i don't think she does a very good job of being there for her kids. she lets dawn sleep in a room with access to the outside, knowing that dawn could sneak out or other people could sneak in. plus when jeff got in trouble at school and couldn't leave, she wasn't there for him. and finally, it's really gross how relaxed she is about housekeeping. (why in the world did jack have to hire a housekeeper when jeff moved back? when sharon was there, did SHE clean up after jeff? i doubt it. i'm sure jeff learned to clean up after himself.) she leaves food sitting out, pushes stuff from the tables to the floor when she's cleaning, etc. i'm sorry for all the sharon bashing, but she drives me crazy.

Like others have said, I don't consider Patrick a parent. I chose Mr. Nicholls because he abused his kids.

Most of the Stoneybrook parents suck, but the suckiest has to be Patrick Thomas for abandoning his family and having the audacity to invite Charlie, Sam and Kristy to his wedding to another woman.
I also hate Mr. and Mrs. Kishi. Seriously, banning Nancy Drew from the house? Just be happy that your daughter is bothering to read anything at all!
