I think Mary Anne definitely has her moments of being a b*tch, especially in the Dawn books, and in the Mary Anne books, Dawn seems like a b*tch.
Although I can see why Stacey comes off that way, she's usually very reasonable about why she acts the way she does.

I dont think the babysitters were mean either. It wasnt like they were constantly being nasty to each other, i think mostly when they were provoked they would say mean things, but really, who doesnt be a b*tch sometimes!

Well, I don't mean that any of them are downright evil More who could be the meanest when they were mad. I still think MA.

I'm sure they all had their moments, no-one can be nice all the time. Although Stacey struck me as pretty mean sometimes but I'm not too sure why I think that!

I think Stacey was the meanest because she basically betrayed her friends for a boy.

I think most girls will eventually be guilty of that one. Live and learn.

^ I agree, I don't think she betrayed them for a boy, she was sidetracked, and it happens more often than you think... just wait until you become a teenager...

^I am a teenager and I don't think that I'd give up my friends for a boy. I know now that I have good friends that I would never give up for my almost-boyfriend.

I like the word kylie used - sidetracked. I think so too. And she still talked to Claudia, so she didn't give up *all* her friends. I do kind of sympathize with Stacey, because, I mean, if I had friends who were getting stern and teacherly with me (Kristy) or spying on me (Dawn), I think I would get fed up too.

i don't think anyone purposely gives up their friends for a boy, unless there's some kind of serious conflict. I lost a friend when her boyfriend didn't like me. I've also accidentally made friends feel like I was only hanging out with them because my boyfriend was busy. Now I am extra careful to make sure my friends know I appreciate them, but it can be hard to balance boyfriends and friends when things get serious.

I guess that's true...it all depends on the situation and the people involved. And booboo, you're right-I'd get sick of people spying on me and my boyfriend too.

It wasnt like they were constantly being nasty to each other, i think mostly when they were provoked they would say mean things, but really, who doesnt be a b*tch sometimes! I think that's true. I get snippy around people when I've been friends or acquainted with them for a long time. And if they seemed a little bit more bitchy than usual towards each other, I think that it was meant to foreshadow something or just to spice things up.

^I say snotty, rude stuff to my family and close friends that I would never say to an acquaintance. They're my loved ones. They have to like me even when I'm the biggest brat in the world. ;D I think it's healthy to butt heads with the people you're closest to. It's not like the club members constantly ganged up on one person or bullied anyone. They just had the kind of stupid arguments you have with people you are completely comfortable with.

I think Mary Anne's the BSC villain, and only acts sensitive. She was so mean to Dawn when their parents got married. I think it's really just that she has a bad temper. I think she bottles things up.

Now that i completely read through the BSC again my ideas has changed drastically.
I think everyone had moments with each other which is totally normal since they do stay in close proximity to each other. Plus i think the writers just needed something to talk about.
