Blanket Apologist lost interest in the BSC and decided to leave the fandom. When she leaves a fandom, she erases all evidence of her ever being in the fandom. That's why she deleted her stories.
What story did you write? Is it posted at ffn?

What story did you write? Is it posted at ffn? I wrote "Lovesick"- whatever I had of it. I only have, like, 8 chapters of it overall. It's somewhere on FF.net. Probably one of the last pages of the BSC category.

Wow, I just read BFF... I couldn't stop reading it. I hope the author adds more soon! It was really, really, good. It is up on the list of my favorite fics ever, and I've read and wrote for half a dozen fandoms.

Does anyone know what's happened to Guys, Girls, Nowhere? It hasn't been updated in forever.

Lioness Black is really into the Rent fandom now. I know she's worked on the next GGN chapter sporadically, but she's focused on Rent fanfic. I want her to finish, too. I need closure!

Maybe we could get a BSC/Rent crossover out of her. Stacey could contract HIV after sharing a needle with Mimi, Jessi could rethink her professional dance ambitions upon seeing Maureen's performance, and Kristy could organize a benefit/carnival to raise money for Mark and Roger's rent!

Wow, I can't believe it's over. What a ride.
Hmm...does Mallory's new uniform have her name stitched on the front?

Ooh, good thing I just read the Shannon book. Excellent characterization. Shannon's so heading for disaster.

amsterdam! amsterdam! is my all time favorite (i've actually reread it several times and still laugh out loud), but i think that this scene from the fanfic "babysitters club go to high school" contains one of the funniest lines (italicized below) ever written in the history of BSC fanfic:
"Sick of your baby-sitting friends, Stacey?" she asked, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. Well, Dawn and Mary Anne were right there, looking at us. I didn't want to hurt their feelings, but I didn't want to damage my rep either, so I just laughed and flipped by back my hair.
"Right." said Cokie. "You don't know how much I get irritated by them. I mean, can you say, dorky?"
Alan, who is pretty popular although he wasn't exactly on good terms with Cokie last year, began singing in a high-pitched voice, "Say hello to your friends…"
"Hey! You want to make something of it?" Dawn jumped out of her seat, fists clenched.

Not to be a party pooper, but are there copyright law issues involved in writing fanfics? Just curious.

It's only an issue if the author objects. There's a handful of authors that don't allow fanfictions of their works posted at ffn. Anne Rice, Nora Roberts, and five or six others. I think most don't care because it's not like anyone's profiting from the stories.
