in this book ma and richard are fighting because he is really paranoid about the fire. ma comes late or something and richard grounds her, she feels unfairly grounded. cokie and ma/abby/and i think claud are all working on the yearbook and cokie is being a b*tch so ma enlists cary to help her get revenge on cokie. this involves disobeying her grounding. that's basically what i remember. i really like this book though so i recommend reading it.

i think she was just at someone's house... like claud's or kristy's. she did get caught but sharon helped to resolve the situation.

she was just embarrassed i guess. i don't really remember her saying much of anything... if you're that interested in it, it's probably better to buy it or wait for it to be ebooked so the whole thing's not spoiled for you ;D

I haven't read many of the Friends Forever books because I am not a huge fan of them, but I did like this one a lot, I would recommend reading it.

I liked it, too, if for no other reason than to see Cokie being put in her place.

Was anyone else kind of shocked when they were listing things to do to Cokie and 'give her some laxative gum' was on there?

^ MA's list:
Put glue in her locker lock. Glue her books to her locker floor. Put glue in her gym shoes. Put a dead rat in her pack. Put two dead rats in her pack. Give her a piece of laxative gum.
And Kristy's list:
Call Cokie, convince her she won the lottery, then tell her the truth after she's made an even bigger fool of herself. Drop a snail into her water at lunch when she's not looking. Write fake letters to the Love Advice column in the Stoneybrook newspaper and sign her name. Write fake letters from Logan to her. Hide her homework.
MA seems to really like the glue. ;D I think I like Kristy's fake letter to the newspaper idea best. That would be hilarious.
greer, I see someone has claimed this book on the LJ site- is that you? If it is, and you can't get to it for some reason, I can do it. It's nice and short!

Dead rats? Nasty. I like Kristy's list, with the lottery and fake letters

wow, i'm surprised. Mary Anne's list sounds meaner than Kristy's.

Just read the ebook. I really enjoyed this once actually, it seemed so much more realistic than the majority of BSC books. Teenagers ARE moody and it was great to see MA acting like that. Kids do get competitive and b****y about things like poplarity contests - which is essentially what the Yearbook bests were about and it was great to see a realistic potrayal.

^I recently read this one and thought it was completely and utterly realistic. I'm really enjoying this series.
