From the weddings we've read about in the BSC, which one appeals to you the most? If you want to be a guest only, which would you want to attend?
Would you be low-key like Sharon, wear a pink dress, and invite only a smattering of people, or would you want to be like Mrs. Barrett and have a big church wedding and wear a dress with a "plunging neckline"? I like the sound of Watson's and Elizabeth's. It sounded smallish and comfortable. A beach wedding sounds romantic, but if it was windy I wouldn't want my hair and dress blowing all over the place.

I love weddings! I want to get married in a traditional church ceremony so I voted for Mrs Barrett's wedding.

I also like the sound of Watson's and Elizabeth's, though I'd prefer my own to be smaller and a little less formal. I like the idea of having it (ideally at my new home) or even at a friend's. I do love the beach and being outdoors so lol that could also be a possibility. For now, need to find the guy!

I think real life weddings are boring, so I wouldn't want to be a guest at any of them. If I had to sit through one I guess I would pick the beach just because I've never seen an ocean before.
If I ever get married I will probably elope. This poll makes me sound like a scrooge, lol.

It has always been my dream to have a beach wedding, my fiance and I were actually considering it for a little while, ( although because of many circumstances it won't happen).

Well, I think I would want a small wedding (like Mary Anne, I panic in front of a crowd), although I'd like to think half my guests would not be eighth-graders. I might not go as non-traditional as Sharon for my dress, but I don't want a big skirt or a train or a veil. (Or sleeveless. Why are wedding gowns all sleeveless these days?). And I do want to get married in a church. So I voted for Richard and Sharon, but I would probably be in between them and Watson and Elizabeth. (Although, lol, I would hope not to have to recruit my friends and relatives to make hors d'oerves all week, either.)
However, unlike Sharon, I will NOT throw my bouquet. I think the whole stereotype of women knocking each other over to get it is kind of more sexist than being "given away." (I only bring this up because I'm doing a series reread in order--I meant to start a journal for it--and I just finished Mary Anne and the Great Romance, and it makes a big deal of Sharon not wanting to be given away "like property.") I felt stupid trying to catch it at my aunt and uncle's wedding, and I was eight.

I drive by it on my way home from work. I'd pick a beach wedding, because I loooooove the beach! I had the big, expensive lavish wedding the first time around. I want the next one to be fun, casual and just immediate family and close friends.

^Mmmm, I've seen the Mississippi River and Lake Michigan. Do those count as fantastic bodies of water, lol? What can I say, I live in the center of the country and don't travel much of anywhere.

I wouldn't really want any of these weddings, and I wouldn't care to be a guest unless I knew the people getting married. I want a somewhat traditional wedding, if I get married, but maybe not one that as extravagant as the Barrett-Dewitt wedding.

Well, let's just say if you were a guest only you would be one of the BSC or friendly with the BSC, so you would know everyone.

^ In that case, I'd want to be a guest at the beach wedding.

I don't know if I would ever get married, but having watched Bridezillas, planning a wedding seems like a huge pain and super expensive. I would probably just have a civil wedding and then have a party where all of my friends could eat food and drink heavily, as my friends are wont to do. Or I would have a Disney World wedding, where they do everything for you.

I think I like Jack and Carol's wedding on the beach best because it sounds like it would be a lot of fun to have a beach wedding.

I picked Watson and Elizabeth's wedding. I liked how they had all of those family members there.
