I know Stacey had one in Goodbye, Stacey, Goodbye. My question(s) are which book featured the stuffed animal sale that the triplets donated their huge stuffed husky too before reclaiming it and second (if not the same book) in which book did the sitters have to stop their charges from donating (without parental permission) some expensive stuff? I remember Karen donated some old records of Watson's and another kid gave away a mother's radio. Thank you,

Oh, that sounds really familiar to me, but I can't remember which book(s). Hopefully someone will. Also, the triplets had a huge stuffed husky? That is so cool. I wanted one last year when I saw it in a store, but always forgot to buy it

Dawn and the Big Sleepover had the charges donating expensive stuff without permission. I don't remember if they were gathering the stuff for a garage sale or they were sending it straight to the Zunis.

BooBoo, the big stuffed dog did sound cool. I actually still have a big Gund dog that I got when I was 11 or 12. Thanks, Sparklymouse for clearing up one of the mysteries for me. I checked my copy of Dawn and the Big Sleepowver and it was David Michael not Karen who tried to donate some of Watson's old records. Watson was rather well un-Watson like to DM when he found out too. He (W) glared at DM and sounded very angry. DM claimed Watson had left the box of records up in the attic and had mentioned throwing them away. If that was true...then Watson shouldn't have been so mad. All I remember about the stuffed animal sale book was Dawn donated some of her own so it was when she was in Stoneybrook. I even skimmed through Jon Merrill's site but could not find it.

Didn't they have a yard sale when they were getting read to go to Hawaii? Maybe that's where the stuffed husky is from....

Starrynight, I just looked in "Dawn and Too Many Sitters" and they (I think just MA and Dawn) had a sale-page 86-where some stuffed animals including a Raggedy Ann were for sale but alas that wasn't "the big stuffed animal sale." I don't know if this helps but I'm almost positive whichever sitter's idea it was specifically decided to have a sale where the majority of items were stuffed animals and they (the animals) were categorized by species beforehand.
I never realized the BSC had so many sales of sorts! I should go through my collection to see which books I need in better shape and while doing that can try to uncover the answer to this..maybe make a list of subplots.

Maybe Mary Anne and the Big Playground Fight? Victoria sells a big rabbit in the sale, so you're limited to the books where Victoria is living in Stoneybrook.

Yay and thank you Greer! On page 62 of MA and the Playground Fight near the bottom MA has the idea for the stuffed animal sale. On page 92 during the sale they (the BSC) give the Pike triplets their stuffed husky back. Mystery solved.

Haha, I came too late, but I am now wondering which book it was when the Barrett's have a yard sale?
