^ Another Jessi's Wish hater here Jessi was often - if not usually - stuck with the world's most boring topics. So over the stupid do-gooder Kids Club. Ugh.

I think I like Jessi's Wish about as much as I like Jessi and the Troublemaker... Not a big Danielle fan, to be honest.

Jessi's Wish was booooring. I've never read Jessi and the Troublemaker before, but I'm not a huge Danielle fan, either.

Yeah... It's all right, but definitely one of my least favourites.

I think my least favorite Jessi book is Jessi's Big Break. Or any book that deals too much with ballet. Like we're supposed to know and care about what all of those terms mean.

Aw, I really liked Jessi's Big Break! I thought that was one of the more interesting Jessi ones.

I haven't read Jessi's Big Break yet. Ugh, wish I had more of those higher numbers.

Mallory and the friggin Dream Horse!! Sooo boring! I don't know if someone mentioned it yet or not, but I just read this over the weekend... oh my goodness that was trying. Only highlight? Mallory whoring herself out to her entire riding class. Hilarious. But all the horse-talk and technical horse-terms? Ugh.

^ oh and of course, Mallory still managed to win a prize in the end, despite apparently being utterly hopeless. I didn't mind reading that one the second time around, I could relate to the whole "shattered dream" thing. Mallory's whole life she'd been obsessed with horses, she finally gets the opportunity to ride them and finds out that it sucks.

Aw, I liked that one! And Mallory didn't do THAT well - she was better than half the class, but worse than the other half. So she was mediocre!

And when Mallory fell off of the horse, wouldn't the Pikes just think about suing? I mean (p. 74) the instructor did say that that particular horse "had been giving everyone trouble." I'm not talking a about suing for mega bucks. Maybe just get the lessons for free. I dunno.

I think Mal would've tried to convince her parents not to, even if they'd thought of it. Suing for every little thing only seems to be a recent phenomenon, doesn't it? Although I suppose falling off a horse isn't really a little thing.

I don't know. The vibe I got from reading was that it was mainly Mal's fault. And not really the instructor's. And yeah, I think Mal would have tried to convince her parents out of it also. And I couldn't imagine the Pikes going through something like that. You know, they're so busy with their kids and all.
