I was browsing around a shoe store today when I saw a pair of black ballet slippers with ribbons that went up the legs. Made me think of the BSC and all of their... fun fashions. Claudia had a pair of those right? And I think Mary Anne got a pair after her dad started letting her wear more fashionable clothes. Some other things I remembered:
-Mary Anne's skirt made out of sweatshirt material -The Kristy Thomas combo of a turtleneck and sweater -Mallory's glittery sweatshirt that her parents flipped over -Dawn's "I'm Awesome" tee -Claudia's... Claudia. Hahhaa -Stacey and Mary Anne's pedal pushers (or capris as we now call them) -Bikinis! The BSC made me think I needed to wear one when I was 12/13, and I was sooo not ready.
Thats all I've got for right now. Anyone else got anything to add? A favorite Claudia outfit? Add on!! ;D

What about those totally cool pink shoes with the green trim that Mallory's parents wouldn't buy in #21?
Claudia's watermelon outfit
Claudia's "Miss Frizzle" outfit in #41 - her "under the sea" theme
JELLY SHOES! The BSC loved them.
Stacey's grey skirt with big yellow number 10s all over it
Dawn's clogs (I think this was in #21 as well)
Mallory's I'D RATHER BE WRITING MY NOVEL t-shirt
um um um... I know there's tons more! Will get back to ya!

I tried the turtleneck and sweater when I was like 8 and going through a brief Kristy phase. It ended when I realized that a) a New Jersey June is not the best time to layer a sweater and turtleneck and b) I suck at sports.

-Claudia's three pairs of socks in different colors, so that 'her legs looked like ice-cream cones'. ;D
- And her dog-and-bone earrings
-Mary Anne's 'sexy' sequin suit.
-Toby's ultra-dibble pants with the cowboy hats on them? Something like that.

Claudia wears her purple high tops a lot.
Oh, gotta give a shout out to Mallory's red jumper with her name on it, white blouse, and tights with pink hearts.

Ha, yeah that one was CLASSIC. Love it.
Hee! The day-glo flop socks or whatever. Never heard of 'em, but the BSC certainly went through an obsession with them.
Oh and there was Jessi's t-shirt YOU ARE LOOKING AT PERFECTION. Despite the fact that she was... black. You go girl!
Also guilty.
Stacey's perm hung around long after perms stopped being dibble.

Count me in as also being guilty of wearing leggings long after they lost their dibbleness. But really leggings and a big sweater, is there a better outfit?

Did anyone else not realize that when they said tights, they frequently meant leggings? There is a mention of Mary Anne wearing a huge sweater and tights, and when I was like seven I tried to go to school wearing a shirt and tights, as in pantyhose. My mom was, like, "WTF? Go finish getting dressed," and I remember thinking, "But Mary Anne's dad is so strict and he let her out like this! If only I were thirteen, life would be a picnic. My mom is so stale." Maybe not those last two sentences

Remember how Stacey and Claudia said that when they first met, they were both wearing off-the-shoulder sweat shirts and hightop sneakers?

OMG, deja vu!
The EXACT SAME THING happened to me. I came out in a pair of tights and an oversized top and my mum asked me what skirt I was planning to wear. When I explained that my outfit was complete, my mum looked at me like I was nuts and told me to put something else on! So I wasn't the only clueless BSC dork around!!!
I felt like SUCH an idiot at the time. And I could never understand how the BSC got away with the tights/oversized shirt thing. It absolutely never clicked that the BSC meant leggings.
Hehehe, that nineteen-nineteen-nineteen eighty five song just popped into my head!
