Isnt there a mother named Linda (that's my name) and she dresses all up in bows and stuff. That is SO me. Yes - I think Linda was Mrs. Arnold! I wish I had my book in front of me so I could re-read the outfit description, it was so over the top. Bows in her hair, bows on her shoes, a bow on her blouse, one of the bows had ducks printed all over it, etc, etc.

At work. There's a client name, Stacey. No, she doesn't have blond hair. She's not a math whiz.

The only Stacey I knew was an African-American boy, and that was back in the fourth grade...

The lady at my bank is named Stacey. She loves math (at least enough to work at a bank) and is a blond. I'll forever remember her name because of Stacy in the BSC books.

^I was visiting my mom at the library where she works recently and she was helping a little blonde girl get her first library card. The girl was with her grandmother, who told her to write "Stacey" down on the form, and I thought, cool, her name is Stacey in this day and age. But it turned out Stacey was her last name, haha. Her first name was Madeline.

I knew a Laura and her last name started with a P...
There are several Johns I came across.
In a friend's neighborhood, there's a family with the last name Pike and they have six kids.

A couple of years ago I sold something on Gumtree (it's like Craigslist) to a Mary Anne. She was in her sixties, but it still made me think of the BSC.
And there were a couple of Jessicas throughout primary and high school (although they went by Jess rather than Jessi). I also went to school with a Christie and two Lauras.
I know a Dawn online, also an animal-lover. And my friend knew an Eleni, or Leni for short (not the same as Laine, but close).

The first time I heard the name Logan was in the BSC books; now I know of tons of boys under 12 named "Logan".

A Logan moved to my school in fifth grade, he kind of resembled the Logan from the books. Now he's all hipster with a long red beard :/
