There's this new book series I'm reading called In or Out and I swear the author Claudia Gabel was a BSC fan because one of the characters in the series, Lizette Levin, dresses so much like Claudia. Like, she wears plaids with stripes and wears mismatched bathing suits and is very "artsy" you know, that sort of thing. And what's funny is when one of the main characters describes Lizette and it basically states the line we've all read over the years... "If I were to wear that, I'd look like a freak, but Lizette looked like a fashion model," ;D

A lady I was serving at the register today almost left behind her calculator and notebook, until another customer reminded her it was on the bench and the lady was like "oh my god I coudnt survive without my calculator" It made me think of Richard taking out his calculator and adding up his purchases, hehehe.

Something freaky from my middle school days, I think it was in the eighth grade. We were watching some movie from the 80s about this school and this evil cult taking the students minds over. At the end, we were shocked. The class was shocked to find out it was based on a real story I on the other hand was shocked to find out the real story took place in Palo city, California

Did anybody see the recent Family Circus cartoon in the newspaper? Billy was sitting in the chair, reading, and he told Dolly, "Don't tell the guys that I'm reading a Baby-Sitters Club book." ;D

Love it! I used to read FC all the time when I was little because my dad liked it.

I've actually never gotten into comics. Neither have my parents. We'd probably be fighting Richard for his sections of the newspaper. ;D (I actually prefer to stay away from the news as much as possible, though - too depressing....)

unfortunately I couldn't edit my post to include that I was sure that it was Palo CITY. Besides, it looked pretty Palo cityish. There's something wrong with this forum's post editting capability. It doesn't detect my messages when I go to save my edits so I either leave my posts the way they are or just delete/write a new post.

Whenever I travel to anywhere the BSC has gone, I feel compelled to do the things they've done. Like, I went to Universal Studios when I was in LA. I had to experience King Kong's banana breath. I've gone to New York City a bunch of times, but I haven't done a lot that they have. Though in Stacey's Mistake they saw a show at the Gershwin Theatre, and I've been there, though it's Wicked now, not Starlight Express. But I'm going again next week and I'm planning to hit The Cloisters, and the Natural History Museum, and I really want to go see the Dakota. I'm still dying to go to Disney World. Though that may or may not be BSC related.
