We had to do autobiographies in 6th grade and I automatically thought of the Portrait Collection. I also thought about the fact that Jessi and Mal, who are also in 6th grade, never got to write autobiographies .

Sweetvalley, was your 6th grade the first in a middle school (like SMS) or the last in an elementary school?

Ah, I wondered, since you did the autobiographies in 6th grade; I thought it might have been a grade school. Mine was that way (K-6 in elementary school, and 7-12 in the junior-senior high school).

I have never written an autobiography, nor had one assigned. One of my freshman comp courses had us write something about a memory though. I wrote about how one time I went backpacking and we ended up stranded on an island (it really did happen. It's why I missed class for a week) and my teacher made me narrow it down so much that I felt as though the point was lost. I do not trust writing teachers.
Oh, and in grade school, we wrote jesus's biography, at least once a year.

Hehehe, I love it. I'm not even into Byron/Jeff, but I remember getting a spam email like that with the first name of one character and the last name of another, whom I shipped together. I actually made an image of it and posted it on my LJ because I was that amused.

Is it bad that Abby (and then Hunter) are the first people who popped into my head when I read this? lol.

There's another example of this written the same way in *Catherine, Called Birdy*- and of course I think in BSC #2 the same thing shows up!

Every so often I pass by Stoneybrook (it is a subvision south of here) and I always imagine life being so nice if I move there (don't worry, I am not stupid, so of course I know it won't be perfect!) Then of course I imagine making the 45 minute drive every day to get into town or an hour or more to get to school...

I saw the Broadway revival of "Annie" the two times it was in Columbus, and it just happened to be the first Broadway play (a national tour, actually) I saw, just like Stacey.
I once had a Black Lab named Abby.
I've taken a trip with my grandparents (my dad's parents, who are my only living grandparents) and we visited some of the same places they did in "BSC In The USA".

Speaking of Broadway shows, I geeked out on a reread of Stacey Mistake when they go see Starlight Express at the Gershwin. That's where Wicked runs now, and I've totally been there. I love going places the BSC has! I just didn't realize they had been there specifically when I was there, or I would have dorked out even more.
