I noticed that they used a lot of the same characters from Stacey and the Cheerleaders in Dawn and the School Spirit War. It was a nice touch.

^ I didn't notice that but I just read Cheerleaders so I'll have to reread this one soon and look for it. I always like those. ;D Another one I noticed was in Dawn’s Family Feud, MA mentions Tigger being locked in Kerry’s closet. I really enjoy the references and connections to past books.

Does anyone know if they referred to the club being involved with "Peter Pan" in any other books?

^^I think Jessi and Stacey mentioned it in subsequent books, but I'm not sure.

I don't remember any references to Peter Pan but I might have just missed or forgotten about them. I'm looking for these more now than in the past.

The more I think about it, maybe it was Sam who mentioned it in Shadow Lake.

I always liked the re-mention (not sure of the right word ;D) of Mal as secretary, too. ;D

Mallory as secretary is so weird...they could've actually done something with that and instead they just randomly toss it in every now and then. I mean Kristy gets a whole book about running for pres, Stacey gets a cheerleading book, Claudia gets her dumb radio show book...why not a book about Mallory being 6th grade secretary?

^ Agree. I would have liked seeing a book about that - just more books about Mallory, in general. ;D

I was re-reading Claudia and Mean Janine (or Sweet Janine and Claudia the Mean, as it's known in the bsc_snark community on LJ!) and noticed something. When Claudia is frantically dialing Chez Maurice's, trying to get ahold of her parents after Mimi has her stroke, she accidently dials the wrong number: She called the Arnolds! I thought that was funny, since they weren't clients at that point in the series (I don't think they were, at least). I don't know if it's an actual consistency, since it's probably just a coincidence, but knowing that the Arnolds eventually become clients, it's a nice touch.

^ I didn't pick up on the Arnold thing until someone pointed it out on a thread here and then I reread. I assume it was the same Arnolds???

I always thought it was funny she called the Arnolds'.
Mal does have a book about being class secretary...Don't Give Up, Mallory. She and the other officers organize that FUNraiser.

^You're right that one does talk quite a bit about her being secretary. I guess I'm not sure what other "secretarial" duties there would be, now that I think of it. ;D I really like that book. ;D
