In #85, Claudia Kishi, Live From WSTO, Claudia mentions working on Peter Pan. I know someone was asking about whether or not Peter Pan was ever mentioned again... also, apparently Claudia's artist interest is extending to the theatre and music, because she wants to play the tuba.

Claudia and the tuba??? No, that just doesn't compute. I could see her with something very common like a clarinet, or somewhat oddball like a bassoon. Or for some reason, I can picture her in the percussion section, playing all the miscellaneous instruments that you find laid out on tables in the back of the orchestra.

Claudia said the tuba was "love at first sight," I think. Who knows why.

She then decides that it's too big to carry home. Then she doesn't join the swim team because it might wreck her hair, and she doesn't join the chorus because she might have to sing. LoL.

Oh, Claudia... That reminds me of in high school when people wanted to try out for choir thinking it would be easy because they wouldn't have to really sing, just stand there and pretend to. I love the idea of Claudia and Sean doing a duet

Well, it is an easy way to earn credit AND you can put it down as an E.C.

Oh, I know. But I was in choir for seven years, and people who were never in it to say it was incredibly easy because it wouldn't matter if they sang or not just sort of bugged me.

Being on the choir reminds me of my older sister. She always feels the need to compliment me on everything I do--regardless of whether I'm good at doing it or not. Like singing. She told me I had a good voice. Well, I don't. I was in the choir in high school, but there were other voices to drown out mine. But once, I tried out for the school musical. It was like Jessi's audition--people were practically holding their ears in pain.
I think people like my sister are the reason why American Idol has all these deluded people who think they can sing because other people tell them they can.

^ These stories make me think of my little cousin who thinks she can sing and is in the choir but they just let her in because she was too bad at band. ;D (Her lips were "a little too large" to play the flute ;D) I liked it how Logan's chapter in BSC Remembers seemed pretty consistent with the description of him meeting the BSC in Logan Likes MA.

^Apparently, I don't have enough of an overbite to play the flute. When we started band, there were like 7 girls who wanted to play the flute. They inspected our mouths and recommended other instruments. Which is how I got stuck playing the trumpet (even though I wanted to play the drums).

maybe that's why they assigned me to the flute; i have invisalign now after three years of braces because my overbite returned.
