^ My 6th grade teacher's first name was Marianne, and I remember thinking "wow, like BSC except spelled prettier." LOL!

"Marianne" always makes me think of the Leonard Cohen song.
IIRC, one of the elderly staff members (the odd jobs lady) has my name (Marie). My name is pretty uncommon for (American) women my age--I always got frustrated at those places that sold name license plates and things because they almost never had one for me--and if they did, I bought it no matter how tacky it was, on principle! Then again, Ann likes old-fashioned names.
On the other hand, my brother's name is Michael, which was the most popular boys' name in America for about thirty years, and I can't recall any Michaels in the series, unless you count David Michael.

There was Michael Rothman, the teacher in Haunted Masquerade.
My middle name is Marie. I didn't use to appreciate it when I was a kid because so many people had that middle name, but now I really like it as a first name.

As far as I can recall only Becca Ramsey stole my first name. I however, have NEVER gone by 'Becca' though.

I just found another Marie--Mrs. Pike's cousin in Get Well Soon, Mallory! My best friend when I was little and I used to think it was AMAZING that her middle name was my first name, and then we realized that applied to about a third of the girls in our class.

I think that guy Kristy meets on their European trip is Michael? Only with the French pronounciation?

Nope, noone has my first name (Donica) nor my middle name that I'm aware of (Jean). I'll die of shock if i ever see the name Donica in a book.

I'm not sure if my name is in one of the books or not. I think it is.. it might be in one of the Abby books. I know there's a Danielle, though!

The BSC stole my entire name! Those of you who have me on Facebook can attest to that. It's only minor characters with the same names as me, but I thought it was pretty cool when I was a kid.

^ I still think that's cool! Vanessa Pike and I have the same first name, as well as an interest in writing and literature. Although I detest poetry!

Although I detest poetry! I do too; I can never seem to make poetry sound good.
