Claudia's English class read Hatchet and The Call of the Wild and she "couldn't put them down."
Claudia said Mary Anne's copy of Mrs. Fish, Ape, and Me, the Dump Queen was warped from tears. I took that to mean Mary Anne liked it.

Karen Brewer and Nancy Dawes collected Bobbsey Twins books. There's a Little Sister book where Karen searches every store in town looking for the newest book to give to Nancy for Christmas. Do you remember what book that was in? I just read Karen's Mystery (Christmas book), where she mentions bringing a Bobbsey Twins book with her to the big house.

Ah, found it! I did a search of my Karen ebooks and the only one that popped up was Karen's Wish. Skimmed it, and yup, this is the one. I rarely read it and forget it's a Christmas book. I think I'll read it later
