Legos, Barbies, coloring books, puzzles, water colors, paper doll sets (the magnetic kind are good , and a couple of fun books. oooh those sound good, I feel like playing with them too I don't know if they still have them like in the 80's and 90's, but I would also include paint with water books for really little kids. Maybe art accessories for making jewelry, like beads for necklaces.

I think you can still find paint-with-water.

I loooved the office supplies stuff and I think that's what made me organize my desk in my bedroom to make it an office. I was a big fan of trolls, so I would have loved that, although I probably would have hid them and kept them. I like board games and I loved Legos when I was a kid. Heck, I'd probably get a kick out of them now too!

Ooh trolls! My sister always thought they were creepy so I liked to parade around my troll doll pencil toppers and this big Troll doll with awesome purple hair in front of her I liked paper dolls a lot, and coloring books.

He would use yarn and hang them (by their necks!) to the knobs on my dresser and on doorknobs. He really liked doing that to the larger, stuffed ones.

those poor trolls, did anyone have baby troll? awww so cute I liked the treasure ones too with the gems on their tummies and you could make a wish
legos were my favourite too, I loved building houses and trucks by following the instructions with the kit I had.
paper dolls were also a lot of fun
I had a very big collection of board games, and I still have some and have entertained kids I babysat with some of them and they liked it cause they were unfamiliar with them
aw I miss being a kid

Board games are great; my dh and bil are both crazy about some more obscure ones.

^Clue is my favorite. I have a CD-rom of the game that's really fun and has creepy sound effects that I still play. That's probably what the BSC would put in their Kid-Kits these days, to play with the charges on their home computers.

I also liked putting in old CD roms with educational games for the kids I looked after, like letter and mathematical games.

I had lots of troll dolls. I loved them! I even had troll earrings with hot pink hair. I had troll earrings too! My best friend and I used to stay up all night in the summers and play Life. Anyone else like that game? It's not so much fun anymore. Not sure why we were so obsessed with it.
