I'm pretty sure ktag's comment was meant to be tongue-in-cheek and not offensive.

But how do you know? People can change. how dare you say such a thing! That isnt funny one bit and you should think before you say awful things like that! There's nothing wrong with being black! I don't think she was saying there was anything wrong with being black. I'm sorry that you feel very offended. I don't think she's on here anymore, anyway, since that post was a long time ago. ;D

I know it was a while back, but to add to the alcohol discussion: I drank a lot in high school, and I was an athlete, and an honors student. I live in the US and it was just something that everyone did. I wasn't in an inner city school, or a high risk youth. I also see no real problem with relaxing on the weekends at a party. Of course, not everyone's wild weekend parties are made into a multi million dollar movie with several really bad sequels and numerous parodies.
Kristy, I think will be on the softball team, and a good student. She'll end up being one of those "super seniors" with the +4 GPA and a million activities like president of student council and club after club.
Abby: soccer, okay student.
Claudia: Art club, will take the bare minimum of required courses, and fill her electives up with art and more art. She'll have a great portfolio for art school, and hopefully janine will help her get her grades up so she can go somewhere amazing.
Stacey: Debate, math club, maybe student government treasurer. Not a cheerleader, but popular because she is pretty and stylish. Maybe young republicans or democrats, depending. She'll probably do other stuff, because it looks good on college applications.
Mary Anne: I have no idea. I can see her just being one of those people that you see, but you don't really know? Gets good grades, but isn't really outstanding at anything. Will go to college to be either a teacher or a psychologist.
Dawn: Hangs out with Sunny, joins causes, organizes recycling club, and environmental awareness clubs. Maybe volunteers for a green party candidate, and probably does other school things for the college application
Mallory: Writers club, drama club person who doesn't act, hangs out with her family.
Jessi: Takes a lot of dance and PE, does well in the courses she's assigned to, and maybe she'll do something with music or poetry. She's supposed to be funny, so I'm sure she'll be liked, but her interests weren't defined that much.

Oh, that's not really what I meant. I know that not every single person drinks. Just that in my experience, the thing they were talking about in fanfiction weren't that unusual. Sorry for the miscommunication.

Stacey -- in junior year she will have an affair with the french teacher, which will be discovered three weeks after it started. She leaves SHS in exile, and returns to New York. Press coverage of the affiar will assure that it will become one of those 'ripped from the headlines' plots on 'Law and Order.' Stacey auditions, but fails, to get a part in that Law and Order episode.
Mallory -- becomes Linda Tripp-like and exposes the affair in order to write about the it for the school newpaper, including her own illustrations of stacey as a mouse who wears high-top sneakers in a compromising position with a mouse french teacher. Mallory hangs around with with the triplet's friends, due to her 'spazz' reputation with her own peers. But then triplet's friends wise up to her, and she moves onto Vanessa's friends, then onto Nicky's, then Margo's, then Claire's.
Kristy -- goes out for every sports team, makes every team except football. Has an overwhelming need to be on the football team not because she like the sport but because she's competitive, and falls into steroid abuse. Five years later she's heavily involved in women's bodybuilding competitions out in California.
Claudia -- it seems Nancy Drew was the gateway book/drug into harder books like Flowers in the Attic, The Story of O, and anything by L. Ron Hubbard. The love of a male student/intern librarian at her mother's workplace leads her into fine literature, and her artwork goes downhill from there. However, her spelling improves. Who knew it was (supposedly) bad fiction keeping her creativity afloat all these years?
Mary Anne -- all I can picture is her adult years as a home ec teacher.
Abby -- will turn up late in the picture in all school activities, and as a result will not get a good part and not many people will remember her
Dawn -- can't think of much. But for Sunny: pregnant at 15, but is a really good mum (due to losing hers)
Logan -- involved in a few date rape incident no one really talks about, and so goes on to college without a problem. Goes on to become Beverly's husband in Stephen King's 'It'.

Ha! Totally. Beer belly and all. Yeah. Logan from 'Logan Like Mary Anne' definitely morphed into something strange as the series progressed. It became harder and harder to have a crush on him. Also, for some strange reason I always see Stacey morphing into Kristy Swanson's character in the movie 'Higher Learning'. Imagine how Jessi would fit into that movie

lmfaoooo @ jessi and vitiligo, too funny!
I kind of see Kristy having a cute bob, but not as a cheerleader, though very active with sports teams
I see Mary Anne becoming isolated from the group and not hanging out with Kristy much, maybe she would volunteer in the library at lunch and volunteer at an animal shelter
I can see Claudia being too weird for most groups and spending most time herself working on art, and possibly transferring to an alternative school or getting homeschooled while volunteering and doing different art things in stamford and new york and going to NYC to study art while working at a grocery to pay the bills
I see Stacey having a few friends who get into drugs but she's the straight one and a straight A student, still doing well in math and possibly taking accounting and marketing courses along with it
Dawn would end up getting pregnant and making plans to be the next Martha Stewart
Mallory would be a loner, though really pretty by then with contacts and makeup to complement her red hair...I can also see her dying her hair black like Anne Shirley and failing at it
Jessi would be long gone from Stoneybrook and going to a school for arts/dance in new jersey or at least stamford
Abby would build on her comedy and possibly do standup on the weekends

This is an old thread but I'd love to talk about it.
Kristy would try to keep the bsc going only to fall out in the middle of freshman year. She'll still be a good student and be in the girls volleyball team or something. She keeps in touch with the other girls but mainly sticks to Mary Anne. I could see her possibly switching to SD for high school.
Mary-Anne would be one of the girls that you know but didn't pay much attention to. She'll join a book club or student council. She does well in school but maintains a B average.
Claudia floats between social groups and becomes rather liked. She doesn't settle and dates several different guys. I can't see her doing particularly well in the core classes like history or math, but her elective grades are through the roof. My high school offered different kinds of art classes like ceramics and she would be the first to sign up with all of them.
Stacey, would be well liked and be student government treasurer. She would be popular and still gets great grades. She would date steadily through high school but never serious. I could see her babysitting Charlotte but not as often.
Dawn, I never really CD series to get an idea.
Jessi would get into dance ny and loose contact with everyone.
Mallory, despite what people have said, probably would be popular at Riverbend. The drama kids would like her because she'd write some decent plays (she took a class for that right?), she took a computer class and might start a class website and get known that way, etc. Heck, she'd probably have a boyfriend by senior year.
Logan would spiral downward. Middle school and maybe freshman year would be his golden years.
Shannon would graduate with honors and be class valedictorian.

Jessi will still be black. Lmao! Yup! I see Mallory still at her fancy boarding school. Her and Jessi will lose touch. Jessi will probably have no time for anyone between her dance classes and school. Kristy and Abby will still be the same, jocks. Probably always battling it out for the top spot. Stacy will become a fashion icon, not a cheerleader, I agree. She'll still be wicked good at math though. She'll end up finally nailing a teacher. I think after her breakup with Logan, Mary Anne will go onto date randomly. She'll join the yearbook committee. Get a good scholarship somewhere. Dawn will continue to follow Sunny around to "keep her out of trouble" and end up getting expelled when Sunny goes too far. Claudia will thrive at art, but sink in her other classes. She'll bomb the SATs. All in all, I doubt they'll all stay good friends. I see Dawn and MA drifting apart since they see each other less and less and MA will probably judge her. Kristy and Abby will hang out with the team, but that's it. Stacy and Claudia won't try to lose the girls, but it'll just happen. By high school graduation, none of them will really be friends anymore and will be embarking for their different futures. But they'll meet up at graduation (Dawn will be there for MA and Mallory and Jessi will show up for old time's sake), say their goodbyes and become great friends on FB.

Yep, I can see that but somehow I doubt that Jessi would be there. She'd probably be traveling around and wouldn't be there in time. Logan would be there but probably wouldn't really talk to them. Shannon would probably be there too to watch Kristy, Anna, and Abby graduate.
