I am back on here after years and years away! I love perusing the threads, and this topic is intriguing. It's hard for me to picture them in high school and not in 8th grade forever. I'll take a whack at it here.
Kristy- I feel it could go two ways here. Losing the club becomes unbearable that she throws herself into every club leadership position she can get her hands on. Mostly student council or pep led activities. Not cheerleading though. Or she ends up with Softball, Soccer, and Track. Competes with Abby in Track. Still friends with Mary-Anne and Claudia. Majors in Sports Managment.
Mary Anne- Found a new beau, but similar to Logan. Part of the Yearbook staff and is a Teaching Assistant. Helps out in the Library. Friends with Kristy. Majors in Education, School Counseling, or Literature.
Dawn- In California. Experiments with pot. Bit of a loner, but hangs out with the unique crowd. gets involved with protests and demonstrations.
Stacey- Obviously falls into the popular crowd. Cheerleader. Homecoming Queen. Also gets knocked up Senior Year. Ends up staying in Stoneybrook as a single mom and finds happiness with Sam in her 30s.
Jessi- Leaves Stoneybrook midway through high school for a performing arts school. Gets into Julliard. Stars in major ballets. Probably the one to turn out the happiest.
Mallory- Stay with me here but I honestly feel like it is Mallory that is the Lesbian and not Kristy. and tries to get with Jessi. Ends up the outcast girl but surprisingly flourishes in college. Majors in literature. Writes books for a living.
Abby- Track and Field Legend in Highschool. Eventually, goes to college on a Track scholarship. Gets caught for using steroids.
Logan- I really feel a rape lawsuit coming on with Logan. Too forceful and pushy with girls. The lawsuit gets pushed under the rug and ends up going to school for Business. Graduates despite being a mediocre student.

The girls will stay friends. And no, Mary Anne will NOT hook up with another boyfriend so soon after Logan and no, Stacey will NOT abandon or betray her true BSC friends just to chase popularity nor will she became 'promiscuous' or turn into any empty-headed bimbo or 'mean girl.'
Freshman year there will be lots acne and puberty talk.
ALL of them will have oily hair and some acne freshman and sophomore years
They'll have a keen interest in sex, but none of them will become sexually active until at least junior year.
And no, none of them are all 'shocked' at classmates being sexually active or at cursing or at 'dirty' jokes.
I say most likely Kristy and Claudia, the two boldest, outgoing members will lead the way in becoming sexually active.
They will also attend parties where kids drink, but will look out for one another and will leave together any party that gets out of control or where there's any drugs.
The BSC's world will also be expanding mightily, so they'll be keenly aware of what's going on in the world and all of them will become involved in various causes and politics.
There's also an IN clique that gives the BSC lots of grief, especially in their sophomore year and for several months, the BSC girls are afraid, but they also help defend other students who are bullied.
Logan and maybe Shannon's families move out of Stoneybrook after tenth grade.
Junior year, lots of new students in all four grades come to SHS, so the IN clique's power is weakened.
Further weakening it is the BSC spearheading an anti-bullying movement and have different letters published from thousands of student across New England.
So, junior year, things improve.
Mona Vaughn from the former Fabulous Five series moves to Stoneybrook and eventually joins the BSC.
Senior year is spent college and university planning.
Kristy and Claudia are the most excited about adulthood; all of them are looking forward to being independent, but Stacey and Mary Anne have the hardest time, especially Stacey, but they do plan on going away for college.
Senior year is bittersweet as they're a bit sad about leaving the old town of Stoneybrook, but know that they must venture into young adulthood and independence.
They vow to always remain friends even as they graduate and move to different states.
Their high school years are a coming-of-age, female-bonding, feminist epic.

One thing the BSC will leave behind once they depart for adulthood is an eduring legacy in Stoneybrook.
Their former charges will inherit the club once the original BSC graduates from high school...the original BSC will spend part of their senior year training the next generation of the BSC.
Most likely it will start with Karen Brewer, Charlotte Johanssen, Hannie Papidikas, Vanessa Pike and later possibly Jenny Prezzioso.

The latter half of sophomore year will truly be tough on all the BSC with the mean, snobby IN clique.
The BSC is the target of cruel bullying by the IN clique and they struggle to keep on course during that rough time while doing lots of crying.
Other kids at Stoneybrook High are terrorized also by the IN clique and BSC do what they can to defend those poor kids.
A large underlying event will be the BSC battling the IN clique.
Junior year is when things improve, especially when several high schools around Stoneybrook are re-zoned due to overcrowding and staff shortages, so that autumn, Stoneybrook High gets LOTS of new students from all four grades.
The BSC meet numerous interesting new students, including one girl who's in their grade, but almost three years older because she'd missed a lot of school due to family upheaval and hardship.

Another common staple of their high school lives will be an occasional trip to NYC every few weekends or vacations, especially since two BSC members are from NYC...Stacey's dad still lives there and Abby and Anna's mum has an office there that she sometimes lets the BSC use.

Extracarriculars...
Kristy and Abby join the girls' soccer, basketball and softball teams.
The girls' teams thankfully get just as much attention as the boys' teams, so the BSC girls are able to come to soccer games and cheer their friends on...instead of the dated scenario of less progressive high schools of everyone cheering only the boys on.
Claudia joins the yearbook and also does the art for the scenery of several plays.
Mary Anne joins the newspaper staff and also a community outreach club.
Since the yearbook and newspaper clubs meet the same day, Mary Anne and Claudia often walk home together on meeting days.
Stacey joins the math and astronomy club.
She also graduates Valedictorian of her class and wins a full scholorship to MIT.
So, those are the extracarriculars of the main BSC club members.

Also, to keep their friendship strong no matter what other activities or people they become involved with, once a month at least, the BSC has a sleepover/slumber party.
It includes Jessi and Mallory when they are both home for the weekend.
They rotate who will host their party, order take-out and have lots of snacks and usually watch a movie or two, then stay up very late talking and bonding.

One thing also...with puberty, during their freshman and part of their sophomore years, all the senior BSC will develop HUGE appetites and eat a LOT.
Especially Mary Anne and Claudia will crave and eat chocolate by the ton.
And no, since they are not vain or superficial, they won't fret about gaining weight.
It's high time we recognized that girls as well as boys also need to eat during puberty.

The BSC also meet a few openly gay people, but aren't all shocked.
In my scenario, I have Mona Vaughn from Betsy Haynes' Fabulous Five series, move from Bridgeport to Stoneybrook.
She's in Mary Anne and Anna's homeroom junior year and meets and befriends them.
That November, Mona, who joins the yearbook staff, joins the BSC and they all welcome her.
That March of their junior year, Mona and Mary Anne are quietly playing pool one Saturday afternoon.
Mona has been realizing for a few months that she is not interested in guys at all, but in girls and women.
She quietly comes out to Mary Anne, who is not shocked and is supportive...no drama, no one acting as if the world is ending.
I rather like quiet psychology for everyday life, not constant high drama and somebody always being over-the-top 'shocked' all the time like too many fanfictions do.

Another staple I have in their high school lives...Aster and Dusker's in Washington Mall.
It's a french fry/snack/video game/pool table/pinball hangout place for people of all ages.
Many teenagers from at least five or so high schools hang out there, including the BSC.
Playing pool there is where Mona came out to Mary Anne.
The BSC had many pool and pinball tournaments there along with many good times.

Claudia and Stacey would have had a falling out probably. All of the older girls with Mallory and Jessi probably too. Yuck, that would be awful. I do see Shannon and definitely Logan drifting away from the rest of the BSC.

True. She could develop vitiligo like Michael Jackson. YIIICK! Please don't liken Jessi to the dysfunctional mess Michael Jackson!

Kristy - total jock. Girls softball team, volleyball team, etc. Mary Anne - still Kristy's best friend. Not really involved in much, still shadowing Kristy. Stacey - cheerleader, popular girl. Ditches BSC (including Claudia. She might maintain a fake-friendship with Claud, but def not the other girls). Claudia - I think she'd be a loner, not really fitting in with other kids. Dawn - her own group, she wouldn't be a nerd, but not popular, either. Abby - playing sports Jessi - still bff with Mal, still doing ballet. Mallory - quiet, basically only friends with Jessi. Involved with newspaper. Mostly cliches...be more creative and original.
