Thnaks! I still hunt for them, and for the ones published by French-Canadian publisher Heritage Jeunesse.

i first started reading the Little Sister book. My first one that I read/bought (well, maybe my mom bought since I was only in grade 2) was Karen's Pizza Party (#42 I think). I got hooked. A year or later I started reading the Baby-sitter's club series. I started borrowing them from the library. But the first new one I ever owned was Mary Anne's Portrait collection that my sister gave to me for my birthday. (I bought her Stacey's portrait collection, although she wasn't a big fan like I was, she still had her favourite baby-sitter). (the majority of my collection came from the used book store or the scholastic book orders at school - (they sold them for cheap))

If I remember correctly, my first LS book was "Karen's Haircut" and my first BSC book was "Logan Likes Mary Anne". My best friend gave me the LS book, and I don't know where I got the BSC book.

My very first was Karen's Mystery, which is the third super special in the LS series. I was instantly hooked and read those books for quite a while. When my mom realized I had outgrown the books, my mom and I went to the bookstore in a mall in London (Ont., we were visiting friends), and she picked out a BSC book for me. I was still pretty young and thought that boys were yucky, so I told her I didn't want to read anything about them. She picked out Beware, Dawn! since I loved mysteries. I was hooked again! I have a special place in my heart for Beware, Dawn! since it's the One that started it all. ;D

My sister was a big BSC fan, like since they started coming out. She wanted me to think that BSC was WAY too mature for me (or more, she didn't want me in on her thing), so she got me started reading Little Sister. The first LS book I had was Karen's Witch, and I got it the day we met AMM. I'm sure my autographed copy is long, long gone. I liked the LS books, but was never crazy over them.
When we moved, my sister's copy of Kristy and the Snobs ended up in one of my boxes, so I sat and read it, and then eventually she gave me all her BSC books.

I got The Ghost at Dawn's House as a 6th Birthday present from a friend (who I still know). We both became obsessed, though I'm pretty sure she doesn't still collect.
