^ I always kind of got that impression too. Maybe that is why there would have been the discomfort in Karen's Birthday with both families being together.

I always, always thought that Elizabeth was the reason for Watson's divorce. I think it comes from the uncomfortable - ness that is described in the Little Sister books or something. It seems to all be on the part of Lisa, so Who knows. Yeah, but wasn't Watson's divorce a "friendly" one? If he'd left Lisa for Elizabeth, it probably wouldn't be too friendly.

Maybe their relationship was already bad when Watson met Elizabeth and that gave him the push he needed to finally end his bad marriage.

I always thought Lisa and Seth got married first, though. Aren't they already married in Kristy's Big Day?

^ Heh, I know! I almost put something about them being "undercover" in that book, but it was too late for me to make sense.
I'm glad they changed that name, because I really hate the name Sheila. I sort of thought Ann picked really nerdy sounding names for them until she had to write about them all the time in LS.

^ I wondered that too with the names. I like Lisa and Seth much better. ;D

And the only Kendalls I've ever known have been female. Although that adds a whole new theory to why Watson's marriage broke up ;D

^ I guess you're not much of a Friends fan. This isn't a huge scandalous secret, but lately I've been wondering about the fathers of their charges. We don't hear from them a lot, or really know much about them. I kinda figure that Mr. Arnold and Mr. Prezzioso have started some secret society to get away from their crazy wives who are ruining their children's lives. They have a hangout spot where they drink beer and play darts or something. I bet there's quite a few BSC dad-clients invovled, since a lot of them seem AWOL from the series. This is just my theory, though.

I think there is something strange about the Prezzioso's. And, yeah, they totally lied to the kids about the Thomas/Brewer divorces. Maybe that is why the timeline is so screwed up- because what the kids think is not reality.

You guys have inspired me. I'm writing the patrick/david michael story as we speak. And now it's posted at FF.net. Ah, my random boredness grabs hold of me again. Cool! can't wait to read it! Whats the title

I was just thinking about this the other day. Most of the dads barely get mentioned. If you look at the Complete Guide to the BSC, you'll see that the fathers of most BSC charges hardly have any description. A line or two at most, while the mothers usually have a full paragraph. Like Mr. Hobart's description. All it says is "From Australia." Nothing else. Did we ever really "meet" Mr. Hobart in the series? Now that I think about it, I don't recall it. Just Mrs. Hobart.
Without looking at my guide and simply going from my own memory of reading the books themselves, the most detail I can remember being given about a dad-client was Mr. Hill. He looked like Mr. Clean, just joined a health club, worked out of the home (I think). I'm not counting the dads who are also fathers of any of the BSC members, since we would naturally hear more about them.

I remember reading that Mr. Prezzioso seemed uncomfortable in the clothes his wife made him wear.
