Mary Anne Saves the Day
Welcome Back Stacey
Stacey's Mistake
Mary Anne's Makeover
Boy Crazy Stacey
Mallory and the Dream Horse
The All New Mallory Pike
Claudia and Mean Janine
Stacey's Ex Best Friend
Jessi and the Awful Secret
Dawn's Big Date
(Sorry I think I put 11
)
2. Top 2 favorite Super Specials?
Starring the BSC
Babysitters Club Remember
3. Top 5 favorite Mysteries?
The Mystery at Claudia's House
Stacey and the Mystery Money
Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic
Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall
Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade
4. Top 5 favorite covers? (All BSC books, including Mysteries, SS, etc.)
Not sure... most of mine are the UK versions so they'd be different and they're generally v simple covers, normally a pic of one or 2 characters... but one that always made me laugh was the cover of Stacey vs. the BSC, with Stacey eating pizza while Dawn is hiding behind the jukebox with that hood looking kinda pervy ;D
5. Top 5 least favorite covers? Prob the v v early covers of the UK versions, who ever drew the early ones obviously had no idea these girls were 13 and not 82
By the time it got to Mallory and Jessi, the covers got better...
6. Top 3 BSC books you loved as a kid?
Stacey's Ex Best Friend
Keep Out Claudia
Dawn Saves the Planet
7. Top 3 favorite baby-sitters when you were a kid?
Mary Anne - Mary Anne was the character I was most like when I was younger
Claudia - I liked Claud's artiness and I thought she was funny... I still like her but sometimes her 'don't give a crap' about school thing kinda annoys me as well as her attitude towards her sister.
Stacey - Stacey seemed really cool, fun and 'sophisticated' as they like to put it.
8. Top 3 favorite baby-sitters now?
Mary Anne - For the above reason and I like the way she gradually came out of her shell as she matured. The same happened to me, I was really shy as a kid but then I got into acting, which raised my confidence (although that differs from MA, since she has stage fright!). Her passive-aggressive stuff and dramatic ways were very amusing...
Mallory - Mallory is cool in her own gawky way and she's a girl with wit and attitude, just see the way she took no crap from the BSC in her unfair test and rebelled to form her own club... although I do love her snark moments as well, her sparklies obsession, endless love of nose jobs and how if only she were 13, "life would be a picnic" ;D
Stacey - I know Stacey got kinda bitchy in the later books, but you can't deny that that is realistic for girls... Apart from her endless amount of BFs, I 'd say she was one of the more realistic characters... she's mature in most of the books, with handling her illness and her parent's divorce and she seemed like the most fun babysitter.
9. Your 2 least-favorite baby-sitters as a kid?
Kristy - I used to despise Kristy's uber bossiness, I still do but I like her active personality and her ideas (well most of them anyway, some were a tad crap)
Abby - I guess she came too late in the series and she seemed like an even more annoying version of Kristy, like a parody of her.
10. Your 2 least-favorite baby-sitters now?
Abby - See above reason
Logan - He might have sweet and perfect in BSC land at first, but his obsessive personality really gets on my nerves.
11. Favorite BSC sibling(s)?
Janine Kishi - She looked out for Claud in her own subtle way and despite what Claudia says, I could imagine she felt very left out in the family sometimes.
Charlie Thomas - For having to put up with being the personal chauffeur of the BSC. He seemed pretty mature and cute as well
Byron Pike - Seemed a lot more mature and sensitive than the other triplets. When Mallory leaves, his maturity is v clear when he stays out of the rooms fight and then decides to share a room with Nicky.
12. Least-favorite BSC sibling(s)?
Adam and Jordan Pike - Irritating, immature and were horrible to Nicky most of the time.
Karen Brewer - Hate her bossy, bitchy attitude. I liked her more in the early books.
13. Favorite BSC parent(s)?
Kristy's Mum before she married Watson (I really liked her interaction with the kids in the early books)
Richard Spier (esp in Mary Anne's Makeover and Mary Anne's Portrait, you can tell he thought the world of her in his own subtle way)
14. Least-favorite BSC parent(s)?
Stacey's Dad - ugh he annoys me and he's so selfish
Dawn's Mum - her scatterbrained personality was psychologically insane and what kind of Mum drags her kids 3000 miles away after a huge change they're
already going through?
15. Favorite baby-sitting charge(s)?
The Perkins Girls
The Papadakis kids
Charlotte Johanssen
Suzi Barrett
The Newton kids
Because they all seemed fun to sit for!16. Least-favorite baby-sitting charge(s)?
Betsy Sobak - What a twisted kid...
Jackie Rodowsky - Yeah yeah 'walking disaster' blah blah blah...
Derek Masters - I don't know why, that kid really annoyed me. I know the BSC say that he just wants to be a
normal kid, but he seemed kinda disturbed at times.
17. Favorite outfit (not necessarily of Claudia's)? Claudia's shimmery dark blue dress sounded nice in Jessi and the Dance School Phantom (normal for Claudia!)
18. Most OMG AWFUL outfit (not necessarily Claudia's)? Without a doubt Mallory's infamous heart shaped tights! Also Claudia's outfit that was described that if anyone else wore it they'd look like a penguin, but on Claud it looked great... no Claud you would look like a penguin! Oh and Stacey's God awful outfit for her Dad's promotion dinner :s
19. Favorite BSC plot event? Stacey moving and later coming back. Also all the snarkable fights ;D
20. Least favourite BSC plot event? Probably some random annoying carnival they did or parade they entered...
21. Best-sounding and worst sounding BSC food? (e.g. Dawn's broccoli pizza, peas for an afternoon snack, etc.)
Best: The food in Mary Anne's Makeover, Mexican and Chinese food in one day... my mouth waters at the thought...
Worst: Crushed jaffa cake sandwich made by one of the Dewitt kids... ugh!
22. Favourite client parent(s)?
The Johanssens
The Perkinses
The Newtons
They all seemed like decent parents who actually
liked spending time with their kids for a change.
23. Least favourite client parent (s)?
The Wilders - I hate typical stage parents and the way they were so obsessive about it scared me sometimes.
The Hills - The way they treat their son is appalling.
Mrs Barrett - her disorganised nature and lack of time for kids bothered me. Although she gets better throughout the series...
Mrs Sobak - What kind of mother takes her child breaking her sitter's leg so casually and what kind of mother is called Cookie?
24. Favourite pet(s)?
Louie - I wish that dog didn't die...
Shannon - Bernese mountain dogs are so sweet
Pow - He sounded so lazy and cuddly
Pat the Cat - She sounded really cute
25. Least favourite pet(s)?
Emily the rat...
26. Favourite friend(s) outside the BSC?
Ashley - she made me laugh with her random seriousness and dramaticness - "You're ruining your career you know!"
Sunny - Excluding Califronia Diaries, in the BSC series she seemed like a good friend.
27. Least favourite friend(s) outside the BSC?
Robert's group of friends that Stacey hung out with for a while... she described them as cool, I thought they were kinda lame at times... then the 'Bad Girls' of the group were plain bitches.
28. Favourite guy any of the BSC has dated?
I know Dawn didn't actaully date this guy, but she might have done if he lived in Stoneybrook, but it was the guy, Richie that she met in New York. I liked him. Lewis, Logan's cousin seemed cool as well, despite what she thought Dawn seemed to have the most luck with guys (except Travis).
29. Least favourite guy any of the BSC has dated?
Quint - he was such a horny pre-teen. What kind of 11 year tips a girl's chin and kisses her?
Robert - Too good to be true from the start, behaved like an ass later on, caused a lot of conflict and was the only guy to cheat on a BSC member
Travis - Ugh what a conceited dickhead. I knew a guy like him...
30. Favourite snark moment(s) of all time in the BSC?
Their hillarious fights, Mallory's "life would be a picnic" attitude, Mary Anne when she "flounces" onto her bed and bursts into tears... there are so many! ;D
