I think it was "Mallory and the trouble with twins" was my first book, and "Kristy's big day" was the first book I've read.

heheh , I remember looking at the cover of Karen's Ducklings (my first BSC related book that I got from a book ordering thing at school) and thinking that the two girls on either side of her (Nancy and Hannie) were her "big sisters." I was a dweeb. But I loved the book.

I read a bunch of LS books before I started reading BSC. I owned maybe 15 LS books and had read probably 30 more thanks to the library (I remember once I hurriedly got books together to take back to the library and accidentally returned one of my own LS books. The library gave it back, though). My first BSC book was Kristy and the Snobs. Then I stole the rest of my sister's BSC books. Now, she steals them from me.

I know I read LS books before I started in on the BSC, but I honestly can't remember what my first LS book was. I think the first one I read was Karen's Witch, because I figured I could just start at the beginning lol.
As for the BSC, the first I read was Dawn and the Impossible Three, because it's one of the ones my 3rd grade classroom had so I read it during free reading time lol. The first BSC book I owned was Mallory and the Dream Horse, it was a party favor at a friend's birthday party. Everyone's favor was a BSC book!

The first BSC book I ever owned was "Little Miss Stoneybrook...and Dawn" and the first LS book I got was "Karen's Witch". I got both of them from my aunt (well, she was at the time, but she divorced my uncle about fifteen or sixteen years ago) on my twelfth birthday.

My first book was #9, the Ghost at Dawn's House. I rented it from the library, and then I was hooked. I collected them, but I was more of a library girl then a 'buy your own' girl.

Mine was Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls, which I borrowed from the school library when I was in the 4th grade, which I liked. I borrowed two more, and after that I was completely hooked and had to started buying them each time a new one was released.

I wish I had of bought them (or had someone buy them for me) when they were released... But I had to wait for them as gifts from family. My collection would be almost complete if I had... But no one in my family really understood my love for them, or books in general.

I started off reading the Babysitters Little Sister Books. My first one of those was Karen's Doll. I recall my parents buying it for me for my birthday or Christmas.
As for BSC books, I think my first one was Kristy And The Walking Disaster.

I started with Karen's Witch. It was a gift from my older sister. I liked it so I started reading the BSC books that she had. I don't remember what my first one was, but I think it was in the 17-20 range. We'd get these 4-packs of books at Sam's Club, which was awesome because I'd get to get four new books at once and they were all in order.
