So can I just be the random friend who sits in on meetings cause there are no good jobs left? lol. Not that random friends would EVER be allowed at BSC meetings but you know...

Looks like I missed out on all the fun! Is there still room for a Shannon? Maybe I could be her. Seems like my home life is a little like hers right now, but I would never give up a trip to Paris (or anywhere, for that matter) also, I'd like to be the one everyone seems to like a lot ;D

oooh, oooh, can I be Mary Anne? I cried today during Days of our lives because I'm totally sensitive! And during my pretend BSC meetings, I had a totally dibble appointment chart and EVERYTHING! Oooh! Another Days of our lives fan.

Just like how Kristy wanted to be the dog in Peter Pan, I want to be the bed that everyone sits on.

Just like how Kristy wanted to be the dog in Peter Pan, I want to be the bed that everyone sits on. ...dirty! (well, someone had to say it.) lovelylemontree, you have to teach me how to do that. I still haven't figured it out!

1. Hid candy around my room 2. Wanted to start my own baseball team called Haley's Comets (I know, right?) 3. Wanted to join the BSC 4. Made my childhood friend play BSC with me (Ok, you're Claudia, and you're being stalked by Alan Gray while on a baby sitting job) 5. Played Monopoly on SNES with 7 computer players, and named them after the BSC so it was like I was hanging out with them.
There's probably more....

--In 7th grade, in "Teen Living" -- we had egg babies! I was so excited that it was MY turn after reading about the girls with their eggs. I, however, did not use a mixing bowl -- wtf? The egg would just roll out!
--I babysat for my neighbors and I tried to always think of fun stuff for the kids to do, and tried not to let them watch tv. (which actually...is good advice!)
--I assumed I'd have friends in my neighborhood just like in the BSC, but my neighborhood was pretty much all kids and my friends lived far enough away that we had to be driven to each other's houses. So much for daily hanging out.
--I was slightly bummed that middle school wasn't *quite* like SMS, but I did go to an SMS -- just not Stoneybrook -- AND the school newspaper was called SMS Express, which made me secretly happy.
--I now eat health food (but meat too, I love all food) and everytime I eat hummus and sprouts, I think of Dawn...
--Whenever I hear of Stamford, I think of Stoneybrook.
--I was disappointed in middle school when the dances didn't have fun names -- it was just the school dance that happened to be on Halloween or something. No cool names like "January Jamboree!" and NO ONE got dressed up like the SMS kids did. Formal dresses? Are you kidding me?? I wore a jean skirt to one in 6th grade, and that was as dressy as I got!
--years ago...when I would see a blond girl, I'd debate whether she'd be a Dawn or a Stacey, and ditto for the tomboy girls, curly redheads, etc. Oh c'mon, don't tell me I was the only one! (p.s. I was a Mary Anne!)

It definitely would have been nice if junior high dances had at least had names. That's hardly an unrealistic thought and would have been fun. There was the Spring Fling, which was sort of dressy for junior high...
