^ As a kid, if I was reading the most recent book, it would get me super-excited about the upcoming one. ;D

I always like reading the excerpt in the back of the next book.

I dont like when they have excerpts for the next book in a series. I like to be suprised as to what's coming next.

In Kristy and Mr. Mom, Stacey snickers when Kristy acts too official and businesslike. Very subtle foreshadowing of Stacey vs the BSC. I think that was one plot which was planned far in advance.

^ I saw lots of foreshadowing with Stacey vs the BSC, too.

Some foreshadowing I noticed was in Ghost at Dawn’s House where they were training Mal to be a sitter before even considering having her join the club. I wonder if AMM knew all along that Mal was going to be part of the BSC.

i feel like there's too much foreshadowing for that to not be the case.

^ Agree. Maybe that's something I'd ask her, though. ;D I wonder when she got the idea for the character of Jessi. Glad she did. Also glad Mal joined the club. I liked her even before she was a sitter and always thought she seemed much more grown up than the other Pikes.

Yeah, they gave a lot of hints that Mal would be involved with the club someday. Like in #7 when they asked her to help out with the play group, then the other books leading up to #14 Mal was the second sitter at the Pikes' a few times.
