I thought that might be it, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the help, lionnessblack.

This one is in BSC on board, Mallory is spying on Alexandra:
"She paused to look at the ocean and soon a cute boy paused next to her. He smiled at her in this sort of coy way. Gosh! Maybe something like that will happen to me someday."
Hehe...I don't know why, but I started laughing hysterically when I read that one.

I forget if it was in New York New York, or the Chain Letter book, but when Claudia's writing a postcard to Janine and says "How are you and who are mom and dad?" I know it's mean to rip on someone for spelling stuff wrong, but it's in the same sentence and she misspells it the second time?
Also, Claire's response to the rehearsal question about what three things she'd rescue if her house was on fire in Little Miss Stoneybrook...and Dawn: "I'd rescue my family, global peace, and the fire extinguisher."

I think that was the Chain Letter book. I'm not 100% sure, though.
LOL at Claire's response. I'd forgotten about that.

From BSC in the USA: "Mary Anne, the World’s Most Loyal Stepsister, asked her dad, Richard, the World’s Most Cautious Stepfather, if she could go. He acted as if she wanted to go to Antarctica on a raft. (Sigh.)"

Whee! My first actual post!
From Jessi's Wish (I think):
Aimee: And red and blue and yellow and green and purple make brown. Kristy: That's, um, lovely.
Not sure why, but it just cracked me up when I first read it.
"Our heroes were on the horns of a dilemma" -- which according to Dawn, was taken from another book and I remember looking to see if I could find what book it was taken from.
"You look like a Valentine!" -- about Mallory's infamous jumper.

I like the quote in my sig, too, which is why I picked it! And it's another Claudia one. Another one I like comes from Kristy's Great Idea, when she says, "You haven't really lived until a dog has stepped on your face."

^ Was Peter Lerangis responsible for both of those quotes? They sound like him.

^ I don't know that Lerangis had anything to do with either of them, since Ann wrote both of those books, not ghosties. The Claudia quote in my sig is from Claudia and the Bad Joke.

"Oh, go choke on an alfalfa sprout" - Mary Anne with a very un-Mary Anne quote from Mary Anne's Makeover
As much as I can't stand most of Vanessa's poetry, I did like her rendition of O Christmas Tree in Mallory's Christmas Wish: O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, When I chop you down, don't fall on me You smell so nice, you look so green, Excuse my axe for being mean
