It was hardly Mallory's fault that the twins were dressed identically so why were they taking it out in her for ?
And it wasn't Claudia's fault either that the twins pulled a twin switch . Yet Mrs Arnold decided it was.

The trouble with these twins is THEY HAVE NO NECKS. Left twin will beat you up.

This is cute and similar to the US version. I like Mallory's I heart Life t-shirt. They look like they would chew her leg off with their evil beaver teeth.

I love Mallory's pose on the first cover, like she's very proud of herself for figuring out and solving the problem.

Hahaha, I love how they added the classic evil twin picture in the background. Come play with us.

The little book earrings, aw. Mallory's kinda dressed like celery, but she looks nice. Titles: Mallory and the Twins Tine and the mischievous twins Mallory and the unruly twins Marjorie and the capricious twins Double “nightmare” for Marjorie Mallory’s nightmare Mallory and the pestiferous twins (my new favorite word) Much like the Barretts, the twins sucked in every language.

This one is fun and feels classic for some reason. I don't know why I like it, since I'm not that girly and this is full of fashion. I guess I find Mallory entertaining as a narrator. For some reason, this line struck me as a little odd: "Dawn is so Californian that it’s almost sad to see her transplanted to the East Coast." Whatever lol.
Mallory says that Jessi was wearing a leotard under her jeans and shirt. How does she know this? I guess leotards can be long-sleeved, or maybe Jessi was wearing a v-neck or an unbuttoned shirt or something that showed it underneath. Otherwise, weird.
I don't remember ear-piercing being a big deal when I was younger. Honestly, come to think of it, neither I nor my close friends had pierced ears. Not because our parents were strict... we just weren't interested.
I feel bad for Marilyn and Carolyn. Being called "Marilyn-or-Carolyn" at school must be difficult. They do act like brats, but I get it. I actually like when the sitting charges are more difficult, since that's realistic.
Why did Claudia almost faint? That was never really explained.
In the Kindle versions, the notebook entries haven't been in handwriting. I kind of kissed that. They return in this one for some reason, and it feels more like the BSC. I don't think there were any updates in this one, either (although I haven't noticed that since maybe Claudia and Mean Janine), although maybe the prices were updated. The sweater Marilyn wanted was $135. That seems like a LOT for 1989, but maybe that's accurate? Idk. I work in a thrift store, so I'm shocked by prices of new clothing.
I agree with the theory that the Pike parents are strict about Mal's close for the sake of practicality. Also, her outfit at the BSC meeting (jeans, sneakers, and a white shirt) doesn't sound babyish at all, just a bit plain.
There was no reason for Claudia to get in trouble with Mrs. Arnold. How was that her fault? Also, it was kind of funny that she hoped Mrs. Arnold wouldn't use the BSC anymore because of that.
