I had a math teacher in high school that would give automatically give girls an A on tests if they would wear miniskirts on the day of the test. Needless to say, he was fired.

^ I don't think Wes was trying to be creepy...I think he was just a nice guy who's behavior was a little....ummm...idiotic, given the situation!

^ I don't think Wes was creepy, either. Just trying too hard to be cool and quite idiotic - Good choice of words, starrynight ;D

I thought that Wes was just trying to be nice to her. I know of a girl, a friend, who smiles at guys and talks to them when she knows they like her. Maybe Wes was trying to be the same way with driving her home, etc., kind of like he knew that she would like it or something.

^I don't know. I think keeping my job would be slightly higher than being unnecessarily nice to a student on my list of priorities.

I wrote a letter like that to a boy who was expelled from our boarding school. Then he came back to see his old class graduate and I was mortified :x

he just gave me this weird look, I think he thought I was just some nuttso 8th grader...actually I probably was... Looking back on it now...it's soooooo embarassing.. A couple of years ago, I checked back on the website to see if my old teachers were still ther, and he was going through what looked like this hippy phase.. I was laughing so hard when I saw the pic

^ How old is Mr. Brown? Is that picture from then or now? He looks pretty young, himself. I wonder how old Wes looked. Was it ever mentioned? The professors I had crushes on tended to be older but I am one to go for much older guys (in my mind only of course I would never have dreamed of confessing my crush - especially since I knew nothing could come of it. It might have been more of being in "awe" than in "luv" though ;D I was really impressed by how smart/funny they were so I don't know if you'd call this a crush. It took guts for Stacey (and Blossom ;D) to admit their crushes. Did Stacey actually think that Wes might like her back? I think she did.

I think he's probably in his thirties...at the youngest he would've been in his third year of teaching when I was in eighth grade (i think my 6th grade year was his first year...but dont quote me on that) ...so... umm...that was (gasp) ..god...nine years ago since I left eight grade...so I'd guess thirties...yeah

^ I thought it said somewhere that Wes was like 23 or something. I'm not sure though.

I think it said Wes was 22 - "ancient" according to Jessi ;D Wonder what that makes me at 24? I really like this book though I feel sorry for Stacey. She was a lot bolder than I would have been. A little more dillusional, too ;D

Lol, Blossom that's hilarious!!
Yeah, Wes was 22. Jessi called him ancient?! aln I think that means we're pretty much extinct; I'm also 24. Man, that's kind of depressing!
I agree that Wes was just trying to be nice to Stacey, but he REALLY should have known better. Why would he have one of the kids stay after class to help him input grades anyway? Stacey mentioned that he went over her work after she was done to make sure it was accurate, so what was the point in having her do it in the first place?
