^ I had one (actually was in one) in 2nd grade. It was quite funny when the "minister" came to school dressed in his dad's bathrobe as his "robe" and wore it all day. ;D I didn't dress up for the wedding that I remember, though, but I think the "groom" and "bride" might have. ;D

^ Same here! I just read this one for the first time, thanks to the ebooks. And wow! Loges was incredibly overbearing. I would've dumped him too. Although I thought the reunion dinner was kind of sweet, really. A 13 year-old in a tux? Never. I also nearly threw up when Logan said something about them being the perfect couple. I'm a romantic sap, but that was overdoing it. Does anyone else think that Logan was out of character in this book? We've seen a few instances of him being a jerk, but was he ever really that overbearing before this one? I don't know. Love the brown stain moment! I had to laugh that Claudia had to check that it was chocolate and not...the other thing. Eww, Claud! ;D

^ I would assume it does. ;D I cringe when I think about what a pigsty her room must be. If I was the BSC, I wouldn't want to be in it for meetings (or I would be like Monica on Friends and show up with my own cleaning supplies ;D)

I remember thinking he acted like sort of a jerk in Search for Tigger, and that wasn't too long after they met. I only read that book once though.

^I haven't read that one in a long time so I might be forgetting that. It's not one of my favorites by far.

^ ;D Mine either. I don't remember thinking that Logan was that big of a jerk, though. From what I remember (but it's been a while ;D), MA was mad because she thought he should have been a lot more worried about Tigger. I can see where he was coming from having more important things on his mind (though know that he should have cared about the cat because MA loves it so much and was so upset.) I thought he was out of character in this one, too, but I can see how he probably picked up how to be overbearing and dominant from his dad.

I really liked Logan's character. I never thought he was over-bearing, I just thought he wanted to 'take care' of Mary Anne because she was so shy. I used to be really shy like her and still am in some instances. I would have wanted my boyfriend to order for me, of course asking me what I wanted first though. Mary Anne should have told him how she was feeling before she broke up with him, Logan was not a mind reader. I think that the only thing about their relationship that did not seem older than 13 was their lack of communication. In almost all of their fights they could have been prevented if they communicated better. I also loved the cover of this book! I think it was my favorite. Mary Anne does look way too happy to be unhappy in their relationship though.

^ Agree about MA needing to speak up and their lack of communication (MA's lack of communication with other people causing other problems in other books for her too) causing the problems. Also agree about the cover. ;D

Also agree about the cover. ;D I was the same way when I was younger....I never wanted to speak up if I was unhappy and possibly cause problems. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't date in those days. I might have put up with some pretty awful behavior!

I don't think she was being whiny when she was freezing cold in the park. She could have gotten sick that day and all Logan could do was glare at her.

^ Totally agree. If you're cold an uncomfortable, it could become a safety issue. Frostbite, anyone?

I despise being cold, and I could relate to Mary Anne in that regard! I don't really like doing outdoor stuff in the winter. I would have much rather curled up in front of the fire with a blanket and book like she had originally planned to do.
I didn't like the part where Logan orders for both of them at the restaurant, MA doesn't want what he ordered, but she doesn't call the waiter back to change it. If you want something else, say so! She was definitely letting Logan push her around too much.
