I would have loved to heard Karen singing. For some reason, I don't imagine her as having a great singing voice. Claire, maybe, but not Karen. (Maybe because she reminds me a little of my younger cousin who is a HORRIBLE singer (though she doesn't know it and thinks she's great)). I never see how reciting passages is a talent but I guess it takes memorization???

Karen's talent was singing "The Wheels On The Bus" ;D And Charlotte recited a passage from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Well, she was going to, but bolted offstage in tears when she saw the audience. Can't blame her. I did something similar once myself at her age. *shudder* All those people... Karen strikes me as a kid who would sing so loudly to make sure that everyone heard her, she would sound just awful.

Hehe, at work today I was peeling bananas and of course I thought of Margo pealing it with her feet! I don't think I can look at a banana the same way anymore.

Drat, the dancing banana smilie was showing up in my other post before. I was too lazy to check whether it was okay to hotlink stuff from that smilie site, but I'm guessing not. Boo and bullfrogs.

^ Go for it! Go for it! Okay, I tried it. The problem is, the stems on all my bananas are really brittle, so all I ended up being able to do was snap the stem off...I couldn't get any further. Margo is one talented even year old! I'm not giving up, though....I will conquer the banana!!! Question: Is it acceptable to rest the banana on the floor for balance, or can it only touch feet?

I was thinking about this the other day (...yes, I know, how ridiculous is that) and I came to the conclusion that I would not want to eat something I'd put my toes all over. Especially something as squishy as a banana that could pick up all sorts of gross things that might be there.

^ Oh, ew. I totally agree. At the very least I would want to scrub my feet clean with lots of soap before trying it. Makes you wonder just how clean Margo's feet were. Probably not very.

I was at a party last night and we were talking about feet (I have really small feet and someone commented on that...) Me: "well, it's not about size, it's about what you do with it. For example, can anyone of you peel a banana with your feet?" My friends: ".........where would you get an idea like that?!?!?" I love sneeking random BSC stuff into conversations.
