'Cretin' comes up in some of the books, especially mysteries. I don't know how appropriate that is. Isn't there a B word in one of the Dawn California Diaries?

^ That's up for debate. Dawn says to Jill, "Quit being such a b--" before cutting herself off. I don't really remember it too well, since it's been so long since I've read CD book, but it's possible that she was about to say "Quit being such a baby." But like I said, I don't really remember it too well. If she had called Jill a b*tch, that would've been something else! I remember thinking that Dawn was about to swear, and I was so shocked to the point of almost being offended. I was so innocent back then. ;D
I think "crap" came up, at least once, in a CD book. It was a pretty shocking moment, too.

I don't consider cretin or crap the same, but that's probably just me. Crap would be even a little shocking, though, for a BSC book.

I'd have to contend it was "Quit being such a baby" because I think she goes on to say "I mean, grow up." I was completely shocked when I first read that pure, innocent Dawn said "All hell broke loose"

Back to this book, did one of the notes threaten Tigger or was that Search for Tigger? That also makes me wonder, did they suspect Cokie of kidnapping him in that one? I can't remember but that would have been a logical assumption, I think.

The best part of this book was Mal worrying that she wouldn't be able to hold her breath at the cemetery and Charlie totally laughing at her. Gotta love Charlie. Maybe he drove the club around so much for his own amusement.
Logan is so not worth the trouble these girls put in to getting him.

I liked that Mary Anne thought her her bad-luck necklace was pretty after the fact. I wonder if she ever wore it again, or if it would have too many bad memories attached to it. It's another thing that could get tossed into the BSC time capsule.

I don't think I would have worn it again knowing some mean girl gave it to me in the hopes that I would make an a** of myself in front of my boyfriend. That would be a cool thing to put in the capsule, though.

^That thing looks like a fried egg on a chain. Not my idea of pretty. ;D Didn't Richard know what it was as soon as he saw it? He was like "Uh, no honey. That's not a bad luck charm. That's a mustard seed."

^^ That's funny. The "fried egg" charm, paired with a blt ring could accessorize a very Claudia-type outfit.
Yeah, Richard knew what it was. That's how MA eventually figured out Cokie sent her the charm.
