^ If you love them as a couple, this might not be the best one to read.

This has to be one of the best BSC covers. They both look adorable (and how I imagine them). Logan looks really attractive. Mary Anne looks beautiful and pretty consistent to the other covers. I like how they are both wearing outfits that aren't too dated... they would even look decent now on 13 year olds in 2009.
Yeah, this book is REALLY out of character - but I guess was a pretty good lesson for girls (learning about relationships and how boys SHOULD treat you). In every other book, Logan is the pretty-good guy. He seems like a totally different person in this book and then he goes back to the old Logan.
There Jenny/Andrea plot was okay for the baby-sitting part although I skipped some of those chapters.
The ending was pretty rushed, but I like that about them. Kind of left it on a cliffhanger...

IMO this cover is the hottest Logan's ever looked. He usually looks like a little punk.
I've always wished that Kristy had mentioned Mary Anne's situation to her family and Sam and Charlie had gone and roughed Logan up a little. Or, you know, given him a stern talking to. This is Stoneybrook after all.

I remember first reading this book, and thinking it was the saddest one. In reality though, I think it might be the most realistic BSC book out there. Logan and MA were out of character, but MA was way more independent. I think it was about time! Logan and her were cute on the cover though!

I have to say, I loved the descriptions of the dates they had. The snow day, the coffee shop and movie and the valentine's dinner. But yeah I felt for Mary Anne in this book, and it's probably one of my favourites.

I liked the descriptions too, but I hated how Logan blew off Mary Anne's saying she was cold just because HE wasn't cold. I don't like to be out in the cold for long, either, and I'd have much rather stayed inside by the fireplace.

yeah he was really a control freak in the book, but I also noticed he wasn't like this in the other books

I'm glad that Mary Anne stood up for herself and that she dumped Logan in this book. He was so controlling.

Just finished this one and I really liked it. I am a Logan and MA fan, but I like them better in the early, innocent stages of the relationship. I know it's silly to be proud of a fictional character, but I was so proud of MA for finally standing up for herself. She handled it really maturely, even if it did take her a while to work herself up to it.
I thought it was really funny that Jessi was really honored to be the one called to watch Jenny when Mrs. P was ready to go to the hospital but Mr. P made it pretty clear that she was the last person on his list to call. LOL.

Everyone likes the honeymoon phase, it was clearly past that stage in this book.

I liked the continuity between this book and Karen's in Love. Although this must have been a sad Valentine's Day for some BSC fans!
Although I'm repeating myself, this is one of the more beautiful covers. I love the snow setting.

I read Mary Anne and Too Many Boys recently and thought it was ironic that she said, "Logan's my boyfriend and always will be," and then she breaks up with him in her very next book.
Reading through the entire series in order is making me realize how little we've actually seen of Logan up to this point. He acted like a jerk in #25 and is a really BIG jerk in this book, he seems quite nice in #10 and in the chapter from his perspective in SS#2, and most other mentions of him are just other characters telling us how great he is and expecting us to believe it, the same way we're constantly told Dawn is an individual but not provided with any evidence of her being one.

^ I agree with you. I think that Logan's personality changed to reflect the plot. He really wasn't consistent, unless he was a background character or just an associate member.

Logan's personality changes might have been one of the more realistic aspects to the character. He was just being a moody teenager!
