Just finished this one and can finally understand why Mallory annoys everyone so much (normally I'm fairly sympathetic with her). Okay, so if you're the kind of kid who's prone to being teased and bullied, but lucky enough to have six close friends, one of them who's an absolutely loyal BFF, it really doesn't make a ton of sense to cut yourself off from all that and go to boarding school, where if history repeats itself (which is fairly likely), you're pretty much on your own and having to live in it 24/7 as opposed to 6/7 hrs a day. Mallory's new friend Sarah - Most Irritating Person... EVER!!! Way too eccentric. Smita sounded okay, though. Just shows how multicultural Mallory is, first an OMG!BLACK! friend and now an Indian girl!! BSC has changed - now the girls realise they CAN actually go to adults when having serious issues. Also, in an earlier BSC book, I'm fairly certain Mallory and Alexis would've sorted out their differences, Alexis would not have merely been moved to another room. Pike Room Wars... Funny moment was when Mallory described Kristy as having "absolutely no sense of style" because she wore jeans and turtlenecks. Yet throughout the book, Mallory's clothes didn't get much more exciting than jeans and a blue sweater.

Hmm... I actually liked this Mallory one. I liked seeing the new setting, and meeting the new characters. Having Mallory so enthusiastic about school and learning was cool as well. The point about not running away is probably more evident in Mary Anne in the Middle, actually.
Alexis was horrible.

I was so excited when I read the book and found out that Jordan is the oldest triplet. Then, a week later, I found another book that had the triplets' birth order in it: Jordan is 40 seconds older than Adam and Byron is the youngest.

No. Jordan is the oldest triplet. It is specifically stated in The All New Mallory Pike and Claudia and the Lighthouse Ghost. I think you're thinking of the book (FF Stacey's Problem?) where Byron takes on the role of big brother and helps Vanessa, Nicky, Margo and Claire with their homework. He is the youngest of the triplets.
