Aww... this brings back memories! I used to get this video from the library all the time when I was a kid.

I loved this episode. I had it on tape. I remember being all excited when they first showed the door to the secret passage. And then....it was just an attic! So not what the "real" secret passage was! I know this was a low-budget series, but they could have made it at least look like it was underground.
Every time I watched these shows I'd think "Wow, their houses are all so huge."

I loved this episode! Everything about it is what would have appealed to me as a kid...an old unsolved mystery, a creepy sleepover in the secret passage, stocking up on lots of snacks for the sleepover... I looked up Pacicco & Co Jewelers (the jewelry shop they visit in the episode) and it's still around (it's in Leonia, NJ).

I don't get why Dawn would store the item they were going to get from the secret passage in between the wooden beam. The way they she and Claud were trying to wedge it out meant that she wedged it in that way in the first place. When you store something you kept in your bedroom in the passage, wouldn't you have it accessible (i.e. close to the door)?!

I love love love this episode! the secret passage totally didn't look like a secret passage, though - more like an attic.

This episode was very sweet! I loved how the whole plot was about sisters! It reminded me of my sister, who’s five years older than me. We get along very well! My favorite part of this episode was at the end when all of the sisters are playing ring around the rosie, in which it then segues into the credits. I just thought it was so sweet.

Love this episode, felt for Becca feeling ignored by Jessi. In the tutoring session where Janine made fun of Claudia for the seance, I can see where Claudia is coming from when she talked about what a tease Janine can be. Liked their bonding time during the baking though.

I'm going to re-watch these on Amazon. This was listed first, but it's not the first one aired. Anyhoo...
I was all excited that Emily Gilmore was one of the secret passage sisters. Then I saw that all of you already knew, lol. I recognized her voice.
Dawn's overalls/big skirt dress gave me flashbacks. The 90s were creative with overalls/denim.
These girls were terrible shoppers. They went snack shopping and just walked around throwing things into their cart. They bought like 8 full sized carrots, a bouquet of broccoli, and 2 bags of apples (at least 20 apples combined) for Stacey and Dawn. All for one overnight sleepover.
Becca was jumping rope. Jessi rode her bike directly into her and then snarled that Becca hit her. Girl, please.
Of course Janine was the one who had to make the peace offering.

They sure bought a lot of snacks for their sleepover. You’d think they were stocking up for a week. Funny you noticed! Jessi getting upset with Becca was so over the top dramatic haha
