I see her in some sort of social justice group. Like, the Black Panthers? I defenitly see Jessi as trying to be the first black female president.

...Really?
Dancer, then perhaps dance teacher or dance historian.

I'm with Greer, imagining her as one of the teachers in a modest dance school, perhaps doing something else to add to the income.

Jessi seems to know that dancing will only be such a short term career and I'd imagine she'd feel stifiled by being a teacher. I know the fandom loves Jessi is Black jokes, but underneath all the comments I see a girl who really wants to end racism.
Or, she could put her love of languges and work in the UN or some such thing.

Though I think Jessi will continue with her ballet career, I can see her growing up and filling out (i.e. big boobs, and a big bootie) and having to give up ballet because she no longer has the look or shape for it. I think she'll continue with dancing, though. I can see her really getting into hiphop, tap, and jazz and becoming a successful choreographer to the stars after having a backup dancing career. She always seemed to get along with Derek Masters, who was like OMG! famous, so maybe she'd remain friends with him throughout the years and he'd hook her up in the industry. ^This sounds like a fun fan fic. I should totally write one.

That is exactly what I was going to type.
I think there is a book where Jessi acknowledges that she might not have the traditional figure to perform ballet after she goes through puberty. I don't remember for sure if she mentions it or not, but if that does happen, she could probably go into dance education.

^ I remember that being mentioned a couple times, too. I think it was in Dance School Phantom and/or Awful Secret.

I think Jessi will dance for awhile, but that she'll also go into teaching eventually. The odds of anyone making it as a career ballet dancer are pretty slim, and I think she knows that. I could see her venturing into other types of dance, too, that don't have the same body type requirements as ballet.

I could see her as a teacher/director for a dance program for underprivileged children. I could also see her getting more interested in traditional African dances and going abroad to study and work in Africa (like maybe with something like the Children of Uganda dance troop, which is pretty amazing.)
I think even if she doesn't make it as a classical ballerina that she will definitely do something to keep dance in her life.

I think she will perform ballet and then probably teach it to underprivileged children.
