I could see her trying to get on the comedy circuit or whatever, with Mal as her main source for material, after trying but failing to become a professional dancer. Then, I see her settling down and becoming a special educations teacher.

How long is a ballet career anyway?

I could see her as a professional danser since she loves dancing.

How long is a ballet career anyway? I'm sure it's like any other pro athlete career. Most retire in their 30s.

I don't see her as a comedian.
If she retires from ballet in her 30's, I do see her mentoring kids though. Maybe working with special needs kids, or being a drama teacher or something like that.

I really like the idea of her branching out into tap, actually. It might suit her. I also see her working with kids on a more casual/short-term basis, rather than full time.

I can see her becoming a nice version of Abby Lee Miller and owning her dance studio after dancing pro for a few years.

I see her going into ballet, then later teaching ballet and maybe even classical music.

It would be kind of cool if Jessi combined her love for ballet and talent with kids and became a ballet teacher. Being a professional dancer is really restrictive and the parts fizzle out as soon as you become middle-aged anyway. Whereas if you teach, you don't have bleeding toes all the time and you still have time to have fun and be yourself and have a family. Besides that, even good dancers like Jessi who've been dancing since forever don't always make it to the big time, no matter how good they are (and don't read that as racist, just that even brilliant dancers don't always make it, especially in something uniform like ballet). I think teaching ballet would be a far more rewarding job than just being a stage ballerina, but then again, I did do a year of a primary teaching degree and that was what I found (I loved being there, but it was so exhausting just being a student teacher that I've changed careers and now I have something that's not as exhausting and it's something I'm even better at).

Ballet is hard...yes, I can see Jessi teaching ballet as she grows older.
