LOL @ fluffycakes and Lerangis' twitter account. If I still tweeted, I would totally follow him.
Anyone ever notice how P.L. LOVES acronyms? I read Stacey and the Bad Girls and that's FILLED with them. And in Kristy's Worst Idea, the one that I rolled my eyes out is G.A.G.A. Great American Gapers Association.
As Lerangis himself would say...
Groan.

OMG, according to Peter's profile he acts and sings. He's just like Cam Geary. Except I couldn't find a listing for him on IMDb or anything. He probably makes home movies with his kids. Has anyone read that "WTF" book of his? The first review on Amazon makes it sound like something I have to read.

Personally, I think Lerangis is talented. He has a knack for writing at a kid's level and his approach is a bit different from Ann's. He writes more on a "cool" level - if this makes any sense. He's also good with adding humor in. One thing I do notice is he's predictable. For example, sometimes he overuses acronyms (sometimes = all the time).

He reminds me a little of Ann's bff Paula Danziger. I loved her books, but she got a little loopy sometimes. I remember when I read the first pen pal book that Ann and Paula wrote together that Paula's parts were almost overly goofy compared to Ann's.

Lerangis actually replied to me on Twitter. I'm internally flailing.
