After reading through the KMDS thread, and with FD coming up in a few weeks, I got to wondering if the BSC ever honored the dad's at all?
Thanks, Mons

Maybe in a subplot, but I don't think any of the June books deal with Father's Day.

No Father's Day outing, softball game, or gift workshop? Ann really does hate men

There's a Karen book where she's at the big house for May and Watson won't let Andrew and her spend Mother's Day with Lisa. She points out that they will be at the little house the next month for Father's Day, and Watson said not to worry, they would figure something out. I always wished they had written that book just to see if Watson would act like an a-hole about the situation. (The Mother's Day book wasn't one of his finer moments.)

In (I think) Stacey's Lie, she buys her dad a chess set for Father's Day. I don't think the actual day is described in much detail, but I remember that he liked the present.

Sparklymouse, I haven't read too many Little Sister books and lol maybe that's why! What a jerk Watson was.
Lila, she sure did not. :/
Starrynight, Stacey and the chess set does ring a bell..does she buy it ar some type of arts and crafts festival or is it from a sidewalk vendor in NY?

^ I THINK she bought it a a crafts fair in Stoneybrook, because I remember her talking about how hard it was to get it home on her bike. Then, when she gets to New York, her dad comments on how heavy her suitcase is.

It was so stupid! Yes, they were at Watsons for the month, and yes, they were doing something for Elizabeth and Nannie, but LISA is their mother. They should have made their arrangement that on Mother's day, Fathers Day, and parents birthdays, they spent the day with said parent. And on their birthdays and holidays, spilit it. It's not difficult.
