It's very hard for me chose my favorite The Baby-Sitters Club books, but after thinking a lot about them, here's my list:
The Baby-Sitters Club #4: "Mary Anne Saves The Day" The Baby-Sitters Club Super Special #11: "Baby-Sitters Remember" The Baby-Sitters Club #5: "Dawn & The Impossible Three" The Baby-Sitters Club #10: "Logan Likes Mary Anne!" The Baby-Sitters Club #11: "Kristy & The Snobs"
I have other favorite books, but these five are my top favorites.

I just dug up this old thread from years ago to see if my top 5's are still my top 5's. Have any of yours changed? Originally I said: 1. Kristy's Great Idea 2. Island Adventure 3. Snowbound 4. Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls 5. Abby and the Notorious Neighbor Today: 1. KGI, will always be my very favorite BSC book because it gave us the BSC 2. Baby-sitters' On Board (I do still enjoy IA but, there's nothing like Disney and I really do enjoy the other connecting stories, too. 3. Boy Crazy Stacey (For introduction to the one and only Sea City + all the Pikes' sunburn cures, so sweet and funny) 4. Snowbound 5. Get Well Soon, Mallory (For the sub-plot) Of course, I still love Phantom Phone Calls and always will because of Mimi ETA: It is still so hard for me to even think about a top 10 LS list. That'd be much more like top 20 or 30. I will go look at that thread in a minute. I look forward to reading all of your replies

The Ghost at Dawn's House Mary Anne's Makeover Dawn's Big Date The Truth About Stacey Mary Anne and Too Many Boys In no particular order. Here are the books I picked as my favorites way back in 2009. I'm pretty sure the list still stands as is, although it's been so long since I came up with this that I'm not 100% sure! I can't believe I didn't choose even one Super Special....

I didn't do this the first time, either. I have difficulty answering things that have such vast possibilities.

This was so hard, but in no particular order:
- Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls - Hello Mallory - Kristy's Big Day - Babysitters on Board - Kristy And the Snobs
So many books could easily have made that list. Mary Anne Saves the Day, Summer Vacation, Claudia and the Bad Joke and Stacey's Mistake just to name a few. I haven't re-read any of the books in ages though, so i feel my list would change a bit on re-reading. Phantom Phone Calls and Big Day would definitely stay there though.

This definitely hard and as I have come to find with LS, sometimes stories can mean more or read better depending on when you are reading them. I mean this in terms of reading a holiday book during the holidays or Karen's Ducklings in the Spring or a fun book like Karen's Newspaper to bring you a smile. The same can apply to the BSC, too. There is something endearing about most all the BSC books and I know that is a big part of why all of us still love them so. I hope each of you gets to read a favorite BSC or LS today.

I never answered this thread but I did post in a different one that had a top ten book question. Several of the books I listed are still favorites.
Kristy's Big Day Claudia and Crazy Peaches Dawn Saves the Planet Stacey vs. the BSC Mary Anne Saves the Day
These are all from my answer in the other thread, about 7 years ago but I still do really like the books I listed. Claudia and Mean Janine almost made the list in place of Dawn Saves the Planet, but I just love hating Dawn in that book and can't knock it off the list.
